It's going to be an interesting weekend. Tomorrow I go to my 30th high school reunion on my 48th birthday... I'm pretty sure I'm going to feel like a dinosaur tomorrow!

Nothing. I want to leave that space open, not sure if I ever will but the bullet and get a pool, but the area would allow for it now.

Yes, but now you can look forward to planting whatever you want. You're not the first person who has chosen a different landscaping style for your yard -- it's your land and you should be happy with what you like, and not fret about what has been there. (What had been there was in place prior to you buying the home -- it was not your selection of trees, etc.)

Thanks. If I could afford it, I would rip out almost every tree and bush in front back and sides and start over.lol. That’s not realistic at once though. The Oak tree being gone will save me a ton of work! I made the decision late Tuesday afternoon, called and told them I wanted to schedule it as quickly as possible, mostly because I didn’t want to leave time to change my mind.

The other tree was a complete unplanned decision after a branch fell on the deck Wednesday morning, so I tacked that on.


I wonder if all of the squirrels are completely discombobulated today!

I know this is impossible, but it almost feels hotter night. Definitely shorts weather. But bring something light to wear over your shirt in case you find yourself eating dinner or having drinks inside. The restaurants and bars are FREEZING when you're soaked through with sweat

Thank you. I always freeze in those restaurants. I am so cold I usually can’t wait to get back outside.

Sounds exactly like our trip. Half the days we went back to resort to either shower, swim and change clothes. We have many September trips under our belts but this was the most continuously humid one yet day after day. Nasty Humid.

I have two outfits packed for each day. I am assuming we will have to go back and shower before continuing.
