I have a "situation" that maybe some of you would like to comment on.
I just learned that Rivers of Light is a good evening show at Animal Kingdom. It is eligible for a fast pass so you can get a better seat.
So.....I looked at my dining for that night.....our AK night is Thurs. Nov. 8th. Our dining reservation is somewhat late-ish.
We are at Yak and Yeti....reserved for 7:15pm.
Are we gonna miss the Rivers of Light Show because of that?
Nov. 8th, what is your guess for what time that show begins?
Pretty sure this was answered. I will say that Yak and Yeti service is really quick. You can probably already check the times guide on November 8 for the timing of the show.

According to the audio recording I made of the show it is about 17 minutes long. There is a bit of a "pre-show" as the mood is set with some lighting and some of the performers sometimes walk down the aisles. In my opinion the music is the star of the show, with your music background I think you will love the music too. Because of the animals there are no fireworks, there is fire though, so some people are a little ho-hum about the show but I like it.
I liked the music as well. I didn't get wowed by the show as much as all the others on property. My oldest was the only one who truly enjoyed everything about it.

It's illegal over here to use a phone while you are driving, and I'm not sure about riding bikes, but people do it anyway. DS just happens to be a stickler for the rules and he's not shy about announcing when someone breaks them.
We got a new law in Georgia that not only makes it illegal to text and drive, but they now added talking and driving. Yay! You can also get a ticket for having a phone in your lap, even if you aren't using it. Additionally, the law allows you to be ticketed for eating while driving if the police officer thinks your eating is a distraction. You can have a mounted phone, but there are rules for that also.
You are not even allowed to use your phone at a red light. You must pull off to a parking area.
There was no grace period for the new law in my city. I am curious about how many people they have ticketed.

On a serious note here tonight. I'm begging you and everyone you know to NOT be talking on your cell phone while driving a vehicle. I almost got killed tonight by a huge SUV that came right AT ME while I was walking IN THE CROSSWALK.

I had just gotten off the bus, and was crossing the street, when an SUV cut the corner and sped right at me, while the driver (a woman in her 20s) was on her PHONE and NOT LOOKING. I ran and missed the front of the vehicle by less than an inch (I still don't know how I outran it). I was screaming at her as she went by, and a man on the sidewalk was also yelling, as he saw what happened. Worst part was that I don't think she was even aware of what she nearly did--her windows were up and she was on the phone. I was shaking walking home.
Yikes I'm glad you're ok!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll make the exercise joke later;)

Gotta love a zoo! I assume that is your niece in the picture? She is adorable and that Minnie shirt is lovely! That pizza looks fantastic, I would love a slice of that right now!

We spent more time in play areas than we did with the animals, it was too crowded!! The line for the carousel was too long, but we did wait for and ride the train. We had fun :)

My niece’s Minnie shirt is one of her favorite articles of clothing, she wears it often...with her Minnie necklace. Not sure if you can see in the photos, but she had a bruise on the side of her face. I don’t think there’s ever a time when she doesn’t have a bruise or scrapes. She’s still cute though. ;)
The pizza is delicious, I just rarely order pepperoni.lol.
