Ha hah ha! Love it--never saw a dog eat an ear of corn like that before--so funny!! :hilarious:

I'd have to hold stuff like that for Walt or he'd mistakenly believe he could chow down the entire ear of corn.

My Golden's both had a thing for tomatoes. A wood garden fence had to be installed because she'd find a red tomato and slurp it up before I could pick it.

I was reading today that Cali Grill is going to tighten their dress code to be a little tighter than it is outlined now that isn't really enforced. Hearing as of June it will be strictly enforced and likely the other Signatures should follow in the months following. Think they are trying to reclaim Cali as a signature venue experience given the new(ish) chef, staff additions etc over just signature pricing. Right now Jiko at AK is ranked the best.

I wear Merrell hiking shoes a lot and they take years to wear down. I wore them at every day for at least five years before i had to replace the last ones.

My daughter was 39.25" at her three year checkup (with socks but no shoes). She was 21" long when she was born though so we knew she'd be tall.

Her baby cousin was born yesterday at only 7 lbs 6 ounces and 20" which makes him the runt of the litter :hilarious::hilarious: We make big babies.

OMG this is amazing!! Post pictures if she makes it, please!!

I will when she makes it. Right now she is in Minnie Mouse Ear mode. Her stress relief from Grad School.

Today she deemed she is going to need a new laptop for all these programs she has to load, she has a very expensive Apple laptop she doesn't want to total.

Congrat's on the new one born to the family, that was about the size of my DD. My son, was 9# and about 22" long. Main reason my kids were 5 years apart in age.

My oldest is 4'11" right now and she is 16. So I guess there is hope for her. Actually she had a bone age scan done a few weeks ago and the doctor said she could reach 5'3". :)

I am a very short woman. It never stood in my way. 4'11 or 5'3 she can be just about anything she wants to be. From what I see posted she is a very sweet and caring young woman, height likely will not be any difference in what she will choose to become. :inlove:

She’s the dancer, right? Does she do a lot of gymnastics? It really does stunt your growth, among other things. My sis had to go on birth control to start her menstrual cycle because her activity level prevented it to happen naturally. I remember my mom being so upset over it.. but it had to be done, she was getting shin splints or something due to her hormones being out of whack.
Her activity level also caused problems with the ability to get pregnant a few years ago, she had to cut back.

This is one of the reasons I won’t allow my kid to spend all of his time on one sport.. I had a cousin who was off the charts tall during elementary school, he was a star basketball player.. made varsity his freshman year of high school.. and then- everyone had growth spurts, and he did not. Ended up being ‘average height’ in adulthood, not tall. Definitely didn’t help him with basketball.
Kids grow at all different times! :)

That is a bit different than what my Doc's had to say but she was also a short, thin woman herself. At a young age, we tiny women are often very thin with little body fat in our younger years. It really messes with reproduction efforts when you are short and thin but it isn't always about being in sports as some Doc's lean towards. Active and thin often is you ovulate less often then heavier women. Thin and active is a positive health wise and great for having good pregnancies or at least in my experience with the two I had.

Everybody was convinced I was going to be 6 foot tall when I was a kid. Didn't happen nowhere near that. That being said James is as tall as his father at 15 so if he stopped growing now that would be fine. I'm not holding out hope because they have different builds

She used to do dance, and she does gymnastics, but not as actively as my others. For her it is just how her growth cycle is, which is very, very, slow. She must have the Fountain of Youth chromosome.:)
Sorry all, I have to share a proud Mom moment!! His teacher sent this earlier this afternoon, I’m so thrilled!! (So is T!!)
First multiplication timed test!

What stuck out in this photo were all the trees.

Here's what I don't get. Since so many (not all) trees have been removed all over the parks, did no one in management ever realize that in the hot Florida heat, just maybe SHADE might help to lower the temperature? I'm thinking that shade trees, especially near any of the buildings, restaurants, etc., would help to lower A/C costs in the parks.

.LOL :D From WHERE I SIT it is out of view and I never noticed it........and now that I looked underneath....it's not a price tag. It's warranty-specific info. tag....not a price tag. :angelic: It says: "Do not remove".
*
HA! I wasn't negligent after all!;):):D

Usually, those tag things say, "Do not remove under penalty of law." So, don't you touch that, or the furniture police will come and haul you off to the pokey! :hilarious:

Amazing, isn't it? I'm not vegetarian, myself, but (especially in this day and age), I'm aware of this option for a number of people. It's a head scratcher that the food and beverage director for that outlet, did not include one.
I know! Is it that difficult to not put meat on a sandwich? Besides, even when I was an omnivore, on a hot day I would usually go for a vegetarian type dish. The fruit and cheese plate is not my thing. And for kids, they should have a simpler sandwich like just turkey and cheese. My kids do not do uncrustables and I don't blame them. Yuck!

Especially with the open-style of the sandwiches in Gabe's photo -- they could easily do one with mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil with a little Italian dressing, Or, they could offer a sandwich with hummus as a base, with sliced tomaoes, etc. Not rocket science, people.

And even "omnivores" like myself ;) really do like VARIETY in food, and I don't eat meat for every single meal.

I'll bet they get complaints from guests. Always feel bad for the CMs on the front lines, who take the brunt of this. :(

Thank you sir. You were an inspiration.
