Now if they would only also include the two new hotels at Flamingo Crossing near Animal Kingdom too, if I understand that correctly those hotels also have long term leases similar to Hotel Blvd leases with Disney for land.

I remember last year for the extremely crowded 4th weekend the parks were pretty much on winter off season park closing times. Uproar on the boards, twitter, facebook. I can't believe they are going to launch Toy Storyland for the long 4th July weekend anymore than launching Avatarland over Memorial. Think it was a better idea when they launched attractions and parks during the slow season back in the day.

The AC units kind of take away from the beauty of the building. View attachment 264882View attachment 264883

Sorry @ajrwdwgirl This is as close as I got to a cheese steak. :D The kids had to be there at 7:50 and the awards were done and we were on our way to get the car at the hotel at 1:30. We were right across from the Reading Terminal Market, but with snow coming and a 2 1/2 hour drive ahead of us I just wanted to get home.
We met the family at a Chili’s 30 miles north of our house. It started snowing as soon as we got there. When we left, the cars and roads were snow covered. The highway became a mess so quickly. We were driving 40mph for most of the drive the rest of the way home. Our local roads were not plowed and even with my 4WD I had a hard time. Glad to be home.

They made a lot better buildings back in the day then today (from the outside at least) While some skyscrapers and buildings today are fantasic, most are just blah. (walkie talkie building in London).

We have award winning maple syrup from Vermont. My mil has a friend who's syrup wins some type of award every year:hungry::hungry::hungry:
Wow, that stuff doesn't grow on trees you know! Oh, wait!

I lived in and around Vermont for 63 years and have never bought any Maple Syrup. I was never that impressed by it except for sugar on snow.
With a pickle chaser. :hungry:

That reminds me.. did I ever tell you folks about the time I was on the way to WDW and had forgotten completely about The Daytona 500. The entrance to I-4 is very close to the race track and as luck would have it, I got to that intersection of I-95 and I-4 twenty minutes after the race ended. It took four and a half hours to get from that intersection to Kissimmee. Good times!!

Given the choice between the flu and chicken pox I'd rather have gotten the chicken pox because all 3 times I got it was very mild. That being said I got the shot when it came out no questions asked by my doc.

You say that, but pox gives you shingles that can randomly pop up from stress anytime. They're painful and even with medication they take a couple weeks to go away.

It's a sad morning at our house. Our society finch "Mo" died overnight. We lost his mate "Miney" about 6 months ago, and now he is gone. Wondering if the shovel can break the sound under the snow, so Mo can be buried near his mate. My heart is breaking a bit this morning. Mo was a real songbird. How he loved it when we put his cage near the window in the nice weather. He would sing all day long, and hop from branch to branch. Or perch to perch in his cage. We had 6 finches, and now we have three left. Eenie, Meanie, and their baby Dottie.

I stayed at Cabana Bay a few years back, and I really liked the set up that they have at Universal. I would definitely do it again. Great hotel, and the bus system was very nice. They drop you off before security, and there are bathrooms right there before you enter the security area. I definitely like the security better at universal than what they have at Disney.
