K. They taught us wrong in school then, haha
The teacher might be of certain location. Some states and cities have their own differences.

For example.. quesadilla in 99% of Mexico a tortilla with cheese inside.
in certain areas of mexico city and the estate of mexico, the name is "quesadilla con queso". (quesadilla means a tortilla with anything in these places)

An odd phenomenon, but sometimes dogs actually have nightmares. A while ago, I heard Jack let out a loud howl, and I panicked, and bolted downstairs to see if he was alright.

When I called his name, he woke up, shook himself off, and proceeded to stick his face in my container of yogurt (in my haste to run downstairs and check on him, I was still holding my yogurt container). I ruled out that he was dying.

Love me some Jack!!! :inlove:

DD as I read this to her...'well she called his name, woke him up with a treat at eye level...what else is a dog to do but say Thank you, don't mind if I do. :angelic:

Could be. The only native speakers I had for teachers were from Spain. Might be different over there than in Mexico.

Well I learned something today. I've actually seen quesadilla con queso on menus now I know the rest of the story.

And on the note of Tortilla, a few years back you gave me a recipe for tortilla dough. Either it got lost in the shuffle of moving or it is packed up in the storage locker. By chance can you share it with me again. Pretty Please. :inlove:

I started to respond to your quote on Tuvula trip report but it seemed to be well, not the place so I'm going to stick it here.

So I haven't been to Wildnerness Lodge in years (prior to all the DVC stuff--except for seeing the actual DVC building, next to the main lodge, that is). My interpretation of what you wrote is that they've cut waaay back on the club level rooms for guests who rent by the day? (In other words--has DVC taken over maybe 70 percent of the main hotel now (club level and other floors)?

Again, it's been a long time, but I have (years ago) stayed a few nights on the club level. My recollection was that the tables and chairs were more plentiful back then, and went around the entire circumference (the square, so to speak of the open area, from ground level to ceiling). Are the tables now only on one side--in the lounge area?

I so love the Wilderness but unfortunately it far less a resort these days. It is now a DVC with a small spattering of common rooms for rent. Geyser point is a lovely lounge with an attached Fun Center for table top type games. Now comes the news that unless you are DVC they are off limits to you in a very common area. Disney built Geyser as a combo bar for both pool areas but neither have a bar in their pools. It is also an OK place to get a quick bite. Now you have to have an ADR to sit at the tables within the roofed outside lounge. Seriously, there are rules to be followed for the pool bar tables. If you just want a drink you need to sit at bar, of course children can't sit there. Nor if you are a common guest not a DVC the newer rules will not allow your kids to go play at the Game Are awhile adults sit at bar and kids are in plain sight. It is frustrating. A resort I love so much is becoming 'ruff' to swallow what you can and cannot do at the Deluxe rate. It is a better situation when DVC has their own areas and I'm fine with that. But removing general guests for amenities that were once part of the hotels general offerings and now taken away to the general guest isn't a good solution. And nobody wins if they enjoying the pool, as they took the pool bars away altogether and just created a satiate lounge with some food offerings. Inside the common guest is still allowed to use the Territory Lounge and they are also allowed to sit at tables with chairs in that lounge.

Renting Points for DVC at a different DVC venues seem to be something in my future to consider given Wilderness can't decide what the common register guest is now entitled to do. And yes that Gate was awful even though my MB worked to enter. It is beyond classless to look at when you exit the elevators.

Some good points here. Leasing also makes sense when you have a business and you have a tax deduction. It sure is nice not to have a car payment. We had 2 cars paid off 2 years ago and went without a car payment for a good 6 months. Things were awesome until our old Suburban started giving us way too much trouble and costing too much. We used it as a trade in for a new one and were offered a nice chunk of money for it. So, we have another car payment now which will be done in 2 more years. I did lease though when I was @StarWarsGirl age because leases were big in the 90's, and the cost was super cheap in comparison to buying. I also liked the free maintenance for 2 years. Dh could lease a car through his business, but he drives more than the allotted 12 or 15k they give you, so it isn't worth it right now.

Will the Tax Deduction still be allowed with the "new" tax laws this year?

Also depending on what our @StarWarsGirl decides to do....at her age and limited credit (understandable she is very young) a car purchase 3 years down the road closer to when she buys a home will have an impact on her credit rating. If she buys it now not so much cause there is a longer credit history and dramatically less to pay off. If the car loan for purchase and application for a mortage come closer together it will impact the credit score.

So many decisions. I remember those days, it isn't easy to decide with the pros and cons of both.

Wow. None of that is good. What a shame.

That looks delish! :hungry:

Last night, I also used my fast cooker (Cuisinart). Read that it cooked a whole chicken (4-5 pounds) in 30 minutes. But that's misleading, as it then said you have to brown it on all sides first . . . that's an extra step. :cautious: Then you wait for the pot to get up to pressure after that. Anyway, by the time you go through all that, it was more like an hour and 20 minutes by the time you're finished cooking. :grumpy:
