Was thinking about this mommy/daughter trip and how I won't likely get to go on any thrill rides. So I thought it would make the trip exponentially better for me if I took an adult only night and did the Ultimate Night of Thrills tour (all the thrill rides in AK). Simba's Clubhouse would have been perfect because it's nearby and would be really fun for her, but they're closing the doors at the end of July.

That leaves Kids Nite In as the only option left. Well, besides just not doing any thrill rides this trip...

Sympathy like. Sorry my boys were born park commandos and James rode his first loop coaster at the age of one.

An odd phenomenon, but sometimes dogs actually have nightmares. A while ago, I heard Jack let out a loud howl, and I panicked, and bolted downstairs to see if he was alright.

When I called his name, he woke up, shook himself off, and proceeded to stick his face in my container of yogurt (in my haste to run downstairs and check on him, I was still holding my yogurt container). :facepalm: I ruled out that he was dying. :rolleyes:

Well, thank goodness the name was finally corrected to chips, in 1853 from Mr. Crum. (From Mr. Google below--)

The potato chip was invented in 1853 by George Crum. Crum was a Native American/African American chef at the Moon Lake Lodge resort in Saratoga Springs, New York, USA. French fries were popular at the restaurant and one day a diner complained that the fries were too thick. :happy:

Or, like me, you might find that no car is really perfect for your life, but this little tank is good enough. And then you won't have any car payments going into your mid/late twenties.

I know you're smart with money and you're considering your options, but I'm throwing this out there. That salesman was almost definitely picked out for you based on age/gender, and his point seems good but he's also trying to sell you a product you didn't come in for.

Some good points here. Leasing also makes sense when you have a business and you have a tax deduction. It sure is nice not to have a car payment. We had 2 cars paid off 2 years ago and went without a car payment for a good 6 months. Things were awesome until our old Suburban started giving us way too much trouble and costing too much. We used it as a trade in for a new one and were offered a nice chunk of money for it. So, we have another car payment now which will be done in 2 more years. I did lease though when I was @StarWarsGirl age because leases were big in the 90's, and the cost was super cheap in comparison to buying. I also liked the free maintenance for 2 years. Dh could lease a car through his business, but he drives more than the allotted 12 or 15k they give you, so it isn't worth it right now.

That is very reasonable. My guess is the price reflects the people who go there. There were loads of cars with DC, Virginia, and Maryland plates. No doubt some well paid government people among them, because if it was priced toward the local population it would have been half.:oops:

Also a very short walk for drinks and food. Surprisingly, and most thankfully, we hear zero noise from people at the pool, the music or the night pool movies in our room. I like that...a lot.

Sympathy like. I just checked our forecast. Rain all day today and 50, but snow Tuesday. 1-3 inches.:banghead::banghead::mad:. Then more snow on Groundhogs Day. Says intermittent snow, which is never good. Plus it is dh's bday. Original call for Friday was rain and 42. Darn forecasters.:cautious: You know the groundhog is going to say that there will be 6 more weeks of winter, because it will be snowing there too.:rolleyes::banghead:
