A hood is a head covering too ... just sayinIn "olden days" many American women wore a "bonnet". How did a "bonnet" end up to be the front of an English car? It was worn on the heads of women long before the car was invented.![]()
She thinks the amount of bars is too intrusive in the Carnival, they are easy to dodge in the Oasis.
As for pools, the difference is clear once you see everything from above, specially if you do not have a Havana style room.
I hate hindsight. It just reminds me that all my decisions were stupid!!![]()
Sabritas as in the brand, but we call them "papitas fritas" "papas fritas" (fried potatoes) or "potato chips".Speaking of which, @Cesar R M answer this once and for all...what are these in Spanish?

oh you!!There were no more bars than I expected on the Valor. Very convenient, IMHO...!!!
oh you!!
Well, unfortunately in our case, noone on our family drinks except my sister's husband.
So we're not exactly fans of having cantinas and bars everywhere.
We had a cabin at the very back of the ship on our last Dream cruise and we loved being back there and the veranda was bigger than the last one we had. I think we are spoiled now that we had a veranda that last two times, but it is so nice to have that little extra "deck" space for our exclusive use. When we cruise again someday we will definitely get a veranda of any size!
So you have the same word for chips and french fries then? Papas fritas?Sabritas as in the brand, but we call them "papitas fritas" "papas fritas" (fried potatoes) or "potato chips".

Last cruise and next cruise our rooms are on Lido Deck. (We booked the same exact rooms.) There's two rooms past ours and then the doorway out to the pool area. Also a very short walk for drinks and food. Surprisingly, and most thankfully, we hear zero noise from people at the pool, the music or the night pool movies in our room. I like that...a lot.
I went to a 2cellos concert last week. It was rescheduled concert due to scheduling conflict.
This was a concert that I think my old music appreciation teacher in high school would've gave me extra credit for. Imagine 2 classically train cello players playing songs that people wouldn't expect to be played with a cello. It was outstanding. For those are not familiar with them, here is 3 live videos of their past live work
I like the polar bears with the lighting. After our morning at the slopes, we decided at 5pm to go to the ice festival in the town center. Nothing I would have agreed to had it not been 56 outside. There were ice sculptures, some food trucks, and other exhibits. My kids enjoyed the ice slide they got to go down and a glass blower.
