First we will ditch Europe . Then re-patriate the colonies . Your welcome .
No problem we will just kick you out again. You know how we feel about that godawful socialized medicine. If you repatriate us long enough we will all be healthy again and become a force to be reckoned with. So watch your back and whatever you do... don't tax the tea or expect us to call chips, crisps. We invented them you would think we would know what they are called. :banghead::)

What ship are you sailing?

Sympathy like. I just checked our forecast. Rain all day today and 50, but snow Tuesday. 1-3 inches.:banghead::banghead::mad:. Then more snow on Groundhogs Day. Says intermittent snow, which is never good. Plus it is dh's bday. Original call for Friday was rain and 42. Darn forecasters.:cautious: You know the groundhog is going to say that there will be 6 more weeks of winter, because it will be snowing there too.:banghead:
Carnival Magic out of Miami.

Some good points here. Leasing also makes sense when you have a business and you have a tax deduction. It sure is nice not to have a car payment. We had 2 cars paid off 2 years ago and went without a car payment for a good 6 months. Things were awesome until our old Suburban started giving us way too much trouble and costing too much. We used it as a trade in for a new one and were offered a nice chunk of money for it. So, we have another car payment now which will be done in 2 more years. I did lease though when I was @StarWarsGirl age because leases were big in the 90's, and the cost was super cheap in comparison to buying. I also liked the free maintenance for 2 years. Dh could lease a car through his business, but he drives more than the allotted 12 or 15k they give you, so it isn't worth it right now.

We had no car payments for years and years, but then the baby came along. You ever want to feel back pain, try getting an infant bucket car seat in and out of the back of a two door Yaris eighteen times a day :hilarious::hilarious:

We had a Jetta station wagon when first dd was born. Got it because it was a station wagon, and I liked my previous jetta. Think this was the first year they offered a wagon for the Jetta. Well the car seat did not fit behind any seat, so it could only be put in the middle of the back seat. We knew before ds came that that car would have to go.

I wish we were smart enough to get the new car before the baby came, but we waited until it was almost time for me to go back to work. 8 hours at car dealerships is awful with a six week old baby...

An odd phenomenon, but sometimes dogs actually have nightmares. A while ago, I heard Jack let out a loud howl, and I panicked, and bolted downstairs to see if he was alright.

When I called his name, he woke up, shook himself off, and proceeded to stick his face in my container of yogurt (in my haste to run downstairs and check on him, I was still holding my yogurt container). I ruled out that he was dying.

I've seen Kapono having dreams a lot, sometimes she just twitches but sometimes makes noises too. Last week she woke me up in the middle of the night with a horrible cry, just one, but it was like she was dying or in pain. But when I looked at her next to me she was sleeping peacefully and breathing normally. I wasn't though and it took me awhile to go back to sleep.

Sounds more like he bamboozled you into giving out the yogurt. :hilarious:

What is a Disney cruise really like is it as awesome as it sounds and looks?
For my few experience, the staff attention, food offerings, free stuff and of course.. the superb service by the CMs (compared to Royal Caribbean) made Disney stand out.

But then the comparison isnt that perfect.

I took the Disney Wonder in 2014. And then the Oasis of the Seas in 2016.

Food: Disney Wins for me. We only returned one dish on Disney, we returned like 6 in the Oasis.(too greasy, undercooked, hardly any flavor were the usual problems).
Service: Disney wins flat out. Oasis was felt always the staff were in a rush and usually didnt care unless you asked them. Disney actually asked from time to time to see if you were ok and everything was going good.
Entertainment: Oasis flat out wins, bigger ship, many offers.. Broadway full shows. the Wonder at the time was pre-dry dock, It has now better upgrades and offers. Disney has very good shows and the characters help a lot. For kids Disney wins. for adults, Royal wins.
Activities: Oasis class wins again, the huge ship has insane amounts of things to do... Sometimes we were wandering around the Wonder feeling a bit bored. As many of the things to do were not of our taste or cultural (example, Bingo). The issue was similar on the Royal, where they focused on things like Casinos, Selling Art and Drinking Wine.
Shore Offers: Disney wins. The Oasis got a pitiful 5 hours in the important ports. The less time we had in the Wonder was 6 hours, averaging 8. Also, not sure if it was the port offers but the excursions were very limited in the Oasis (as in variety).
Crowd feel: Disney Wins. The crowds only feel heavy during the atrium parties in the Disney. The Oasis felt heavy during EVERY show and sometimes during normal sea days (Royal Promenade and Boardwalk being mostly always busy). But then you cant compare a medium-small ship the wonder with the multimamooth big-giant size ship of the Oasis Class. This also feels the same during embarkation. During embarkation you feel like a king in Disney, in Royal you feel like "someone else in the group".
Price: Disney is waaaay too expensive, even for what they include in the starting price. Only good during the off season where you can get best prices. Same with Royal, but they have discounts year-along. Only problem with Royal is.. they want to charge you for pretty much everything. And they constantly push you to do so. Like basic things like drinks are not included.
Kids and Characters: Disney wins by huge margin. Characters are constant everywhere, appearing around the ships and meeting not only in the atrium, but also outside. Almost every show/entertainment offer is either for everyone or focused on kids and teens. The variety is big. Royal only has a handful of suits of characters and they only "meet" a few times inside the Royal Promende and have a few shows with minimal character interaction (like the Julien's belly flop contest). Characters do not roam around.
