I am so fed up at the moment that I am willing to go to EPCOT first instead of my usual MK. I will buy the first round of drinks, just stop me before I try and climb the Mexico pavilion.

It got delivered yesterday and I finally assembled the box today.

Funny thing is, the vendor is confused. Because he supposedly was to SHIP the box TOMORROW to get it the 20th of this month.

So someone sent it before he knew...
Because it has the name of HIS store and HIS own name.


regardless, I'm destroyed body wise atm. this thing weights good 10 kilos, plus the computer, fans, gaming video card.. and the monstrous
heatsink..
This thing probably weights 25 to 30Kilos.

Heres my equipment before it went into the box case. I had to test everything this way to ensure it worked.
And so far it behaves beautifully.

Funny thing is, everything happens in my life AT SAME TIME.

My boss was on vacations on the weekend.. and suddenly I got a huge influx of requests on Sunday late night, monday my boss arrived and so did the Box for the computer.
So I have been rushing to fulfill the things that needed to be done part by part.
It took me a few hours to insert everything correctly.

I love when things show up early and get some sleep

Alright, so since last time I was here, finally hit Chuy's. OMG! So good @donaldtoo ! Can't wait to get back! I will not attempt the Elvis Combo solo again, however. That was dinner, and lunch, and some dinner.

Old Subaru (1998), finally clunked out just after Thanksgiving. Bought new car. Last week discovered someone already dented the side pretty good. Still a nice ride but...heavy sigh.

And, thank goodness I came back from my Target run with very few things for the freezer, because on my door step was a big cooler from Omaha Steak. Just said Merry Christmas. I have no clue who sent it, but barely fit in the freezer. What a great problem to have.

And Hannukah starts tonight, still don't have anything ready for that. And 2 weeks till Christmas and Disney, and nothing. Can I just go now?

Alright, everyone has an opinion, and I am actually looking for some. As some of you may know, my DS is a music major at college. One of his trumpet teachers was asking him what his plans over break was, and he said he was headed to WDW. Teacher asks when. Long story short, so now DS has been in contact with one of the percussionists for Candlelight. As an aside, she also did the percussion for Little Mermaid, and her husband is also a percussionist for Candlelight. DS told me at her suggestion, we should do a dinner package. He is more interested in the music, than the story. I would rather not spend that much time with it on a short trip. But, now, I don't know. Do I do it, or tell him sound carries?

That's a tough one. Is it worth the money to book it for everybody and maybe splitting up for a bit if somebody doesn't want to do it. Would he like to do it solo?

Well friends, hubs dr. appointment for his ankle went pretty well. The bone isn't fully healed but is at the point in which the dr thought it should be. Hubs still can't drive. Incrementally he can start putting weight on it, 25% this week and building up to 100% in 4 weeks. So we will NOT be travelling to see his family this Christmas. He texted them and told them, and has only heard back from his brother-in-law. The brother-in-law's response is that we should fly to Chicago. He tried convincing my hubs a couple times. He even tried to convince him by saying that he would give up one of the full sized bed so we wouldn't have to stay in a hotel. Problem is the bedroom are all up a steep set of stairs, hubs can't even go up our stairs! But there was no response to hubs' invitation for them all to come up here.

So I think it will be a Merry Christmas for me this year!

Wow. The mall is really dead. Almost 9 years ago when I first started workin' here at the Disney Store and other places, it was always pretty packed during all of December, even on weeknights. Kinda' sad, actually.

I'm happy to report you couldn't even get into one of our malls last Sunday it was so packed

THNX. James is in a couple of music programs that will preclude us from doing much of anything but it will be worth it in the long run. Maybe with luck my dh and he will both be able to get a couple of 4 day stretches off at the same time over the next couple of years. DC and Hershey/Lancaster are fun short trips

But, it was a Tuesday night. During the week, many people are working (either at a business outside the home, or work at home) and many families are taking care of the kids at home after school, etc. So are you saying that even on a Tuesday night, the mall "used to be packed"? Guess I'm just a little surprised, but more due to the timing.

Now, if it was the weekend, I'd really be surprised. Granted, the buying habits of customers have been changing over the years, and most people (in polls) indicate they do a combination of in-store, and online shopping for the holidays.

Thanks! I managed to make a 4-year program (they don't schedule more than 2 weeks off a year, so any time off you take extends the length of your program) into 6 years, but I'm getting a bachelor's with a double major in English and Education Studies with a specialization in Instructional Design.
