Bad news, I just found that the cable of the control thingie is completely glued and the damage is INSIDE the box
I will need to see if they sell the control box as standalone. Or I will need to repurchase the whole thing

Yes, the ones who comment on Yahoo are not the brightest.

And it will not stop. 24 hours now. At least one more mega/couple nasty stretch eeking over the IL border now. Round 6 coming on up.....

Flowing water on the sidewalks. Water water everywhere. We were suppose to travel to Boone County FairGrounds today. Thought better of traveling through this much water.

The next round of storms has moved in. There was a slight break a while ago and it was calm outside. I walked down to the bridge. The river seems to be about only a foot left in clearance. Haven't seen the bridge get hit by the river since 2010 (which starts spewing water in directions it normally doesn't flow. The deep water run off sewers had only 6" left to give. This next leg of the storm is about 3 hours in length. Pretty Yellows, Reds and Orange on the radar and the Emergency warnings keep beeping on the TV.

Hoping I fall asleep like I did during Irma...missing the rest of this would be nice too. Still cant believe I slept through Irma.

This is better. This was a pic my DS texted to me around 5 years ago of The Carrot Cake Cookie from the Writer's Shop at the studios. His version of veggies with his dinner.

It was at the Writers Shop, Now moved onto the Cauldron. And of course it is somewhat smaller too.

Maybe I should make the boys carrot cake, but I'm not going to grate the carrots!

Well, we definitely didn't close out the park. Not even close. It was supposed to have been over 70 degrees by the time we were planning on arriving at 1pm. It never got past 64. There was a colder breeze, lots of people, and lots of the rides for younger kids were not running. It is not a park like at Disney where lots of the rides are family rides when you have large age differences DH and I were cynically joking that we spent $189 to walk our lunch off. We waited 40 minutes just to go on the Tilt-A-Whirl. We did have a great lunch though at a restaurant called The Chocolate Grille. They have a new veggie burger, a beet burger. It was so yummy. I tried to get the recipe. All the waitress could tell me was that the main ingredients were beets, carrots, and peas. No pics, sorry @figmentfan423.

Don't even think about it. I'm almost never able to get food pics The only reason I got any during my trip is because I had a plan, we had a family meeting about it and I threatened my boys with a bus ride to Joisey if they didn't cooperate

Your area has had its share of inclement weather for the past few months. I hope you get a break soon.

I'd like to say, like everyone else will do, how yummy that looks, however, to my eye it looks like someone scraped the leftovers off another plate and put it on a bun. I'm sure you enjoyed it though otherwise you wouldn't have posted the picture. Just felt the need to be honest. Sorry!

Your description is kind of funny. It has too many pickles on it for me. I liked it because the fries looked really good. I haven't had some good fries in awhile.
