As the story unfolds these 'special' strollers won't go on a bus or fit in a car right? So my understanding is the family is picked up in a limo and met with their DD special carriage outside the Magic Kingdom to be escorted in her carriage for the day. I've yet to have the will to go and see what the toddler carriage experience cost is from the 'outside' rental company. Oh my DD was so deprived.

Oh, I can't wait to see what the upcharge will be on this one?!!!

I absolutely agree. We lucked out with it running so well while we were at SOG. We all really hope it does the next time we get to stay there

I'm confused. You referenced SOG (Shades of Green), but the monorail doesn't go over there. Did you mean that while you were at SOG (many years ago, I presume?), you often went to either MK or EPCOT and used the monorail between the two parks?

YUP first prize all my dh got was some grill trays from the boys

More Father's Day fun...!

We finished our brunch at Kerby Lane and headed for the go-kart track ressie about 30-40 mins. away.
Only, my crazy-cool fam tricked me again, and I had no clue...it was no go-kart track in that hometown, it was the airport for a half-hour flight in one of these...a gyroplane !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was the coolest thing ever...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I even got to take the controls for about 8 mins. of the flight, and he said I did awesome...I took it left, right, up, down, increased, and decreased throttle. The gyroplane is such a stable flight platform.
Also, the pilot was very impressed that I knew the inventor of the gyroplane was a Spanish engineer named Juan de la Cierva, and his creation first flew in 1923...!
Again, this was soooooo awesome...the closest thing in real life to flying like all those childhood dreams I had...!!!!!!!

That looks so cool!!! Love the sneakers by the way.

He claims to not like mojitos because of the lime, but a couple weeks ago a friend recommended a drink to him that hubs just had to have. It was soda water, white rum and lime. And hubs liked it, i pointed out the similarities and he said that he still doesn't like those. Just like he claims to. It like guacamole but will he avacado mash, or claims not to like mayonnaise but if it is called aioli he will smother his food with it. My hubs is so strange.

I think they're cute but I cannot imagine getting that thing through a crowd without chewing up other people's ankles. And I'd be worried someone would steal it from the stroller parking and I'd have to pay for the whole thing.

And for $300 I'd want a footman to be included to push my little snowflake princess around all day so I wouldn't have to.

I have the bites recipe and have never made it I'll have to fix that this week and I added cauliflower to my shopping list Please share your crabless recipe thnx

It was amazing! You need to make the cauliflower for sure. They were on sale at the supermarket when I went Saturday and now I am sad I did not get more. I kind of winged the crabless cakes but can tell you the ingredients with some measurements.
4 or 5 yukon gold potatoes shredded, 4 carrots shredded, half a large onion or diced, fresh chopped parsley. Squeeze out the water from the potatoes and combine all the first ingredients. In food processor put in one can of white cannelini beans, lemon juice, dijon, old bay seasoning, a cup of breadcrumbs( I had homemade and they needed to get used, but you can use oat flour or garbanzo bean flour I am sure), a tablespoon potato starch, tsp of baking powder. Puree all that and then mix it in with the potato, carrot, and onion. Make a flax egg mixture(2 Tbl flax seed with 6 Tbl water) and mix that in. It will be doughy. Drop in heaping scoops onto parchment on a cookie sheet. I made 16. I cooked in the oven at 415 and flipped once after 20 minutes. I think I let them go another 10.

I get it though. Parents are willing to pay the same amount to have a cast member throw glitter in their daughters beautiful hairdo and let their kid pick out an itchy costume. It's part of the magical experience for some families.

I would just never rent this stroller, LOL. We'll make our daughter's trip magical in other ways.

I would just never rent this stroller, LOL. We'll make our daughter's trip magical in other ways.

Guess those people don't know that if you go into the barber shop they will put the glitter in for free.

Wow that would be at least 4 Quick Service meals for my family. Even if I had an extra $300 to blow, I would not waste it on that. That is just ridiculous.
