I'm pretty darn objective most of the time anyhow. I call out the things that are just wrong and praise the things I love. But I look at things like the WoL and Imagination Pavilion or worse the tombstones that greet ya at the entrance of Epcot and can't sing the praises. There are some awesome things at the Parks and some that don't make me happy. I can't imagine some of these things would please Walt either and I don't think that is a reach given his temperament.
Not a fan of the tombstones here either.

@ajrwdwgirl , this one is for you -- one of my favorite spots at the SWAN. Do you recall these hidden courtyard gems, on the right and left sides of the hallway, before you reached the exit doors (in the direction of the Friendship Boats)? It was so quiet and peaceful out there, and I'd have coffee and a muffin in the mornings out there. :cat:

Our first time we were visiting the Swan, my ex was "watching" our daughter while I was getting a schedule. I came back to see she had somehow gotten her sandals off and dipped them in the Swan fountain. I was so mad but now it's become one of those "Do you know what your dad let you do?" things.

I'm at animal kingdom right now. Missed the show. There is not enough seating. Also the park is generally hazardous and dark. Had to use our phone to light the queue for bugs life. Also. Queue lines are like 5 mins for everything

Funny you should say that about the lighting. I questioned and asked @betty rose to let me know if they fixed the lighting because years ago it was not good when I was there several times at night when they opened half the park at night for a while. Hope they get that worked out fast. Some of those sidewalks are kinda bumpity in areas (on purpose) worse in the dark.

I just commented about the reviews I've heard so far for the night show. Hopefully Rivers will be a better show.

Ha! Maybe the ex was just channeling his inner Joe Rohde since he put his kids legs into the fountain outside The Dinosaur attraction. They fixed him, they built a wall around the whole fountain that is about as tall as I am. Still think it is funny that some alert guest caught that one on video. Too fun.

I am the same as you, I can tolerate other potato salads and stuffing but using the family recipe tastes the best to me. I do put just a bit of mustard in my potato salads, it gives it just a teeney bit of tang. I made a macaroni salad for tomorrow's family gathering and there was no mayo in the fridge or in the pantry. So hubby had to go down to the grocery store to get some. He could have went to the gas station in town to get some, but I remember from past experience that they only have Miracle Whip and not Hellmann's. For my potato or mac salads it has to be Hellmann's mayo.
Yep. It must be Hellman. I gave my SIL my recipe and she sub'd Miracle Whip. Disgusting version. I add a capful of vinager to smooth the Mayo and add tang.

It wasn't intended to be a "rubic for analyzing", it was meant as an observation and also because I think that they did a great job planning and imagineering the hub. It is spacious it has created moving room and it looks nice. I'm not sure, other then cherry trees, which would have defeated the purpose, what more they could have done. I believe it does work and it has helped a great deal, from the accounts that I have heard, to help lighten the congestion. Nothing short of ending the Castle show will stop the crowds from congregating in that spot. So, if we want those things, like Castle projections and Fireworks around the Castle, that is the trade off.
Gotta admit it was an odd throw in as support to the post
Right?

Like us guests getting to pocket the funds is even relavent?
When was Guests ever getting a split of cost savings ever in to their bank accounts ever ever a reality? That is what I was calling foul to. Im fine with disagreeing but I can't wrap my brain around disney putting money into our personal bank accounts
