And, I went with both daughters a few years later when youngest was old enough to join the Girl Scouts.

I'm almost afraid to say. It was a spoof of Disney characters. So funny. I loved it. I love a good joke. Heck, I joke about myself a lot. Snow white and the 7 dwarf's were so funny, out of 4th graders. I laughed my head off . The evil queen was on trial for murder. I don't know how the director did it, but he made fun of all the character's. Everyone laughed and laughed. I'ts the best thing I have ever seen out of fourth graders.!

Finally got a Frostrom FP, it is tier one so I had to swap my Soarin' FP for it so it better be worth it. By the way is it bad that when I ride Frostrom for the first time I'm going to wear my Maelstrom shirt?

Actually, I didn't make it to any of the kiosks for food. I just wasn't in the mood for the menus I saw while passing by, (I'm tempermental about food, and also if it's hot outside, I don't like eating outdoors--no appetite). I was also there one evening, but since I had already eaten a few hours before that, I didn't try anything at a kiosk.

A meal I also enjoyed was the breakfast at Picabu (cafeteria style restaurant) over in the Dolphin. They had best bacon I've had in a long time!!! The scrambled eggs, potatoes and toast were good, but that bacon was awesome!!!

Another good meal was at the QS at the France Pavilion. I had the toasted Croque Monsieur, a soda, and chocolate mousse. It was all very tasty!!

The counter service at France is really good, I could eat that chocolate mousse by the gallon!

They also have a raspberry (framboise) dessert to die for . . . it was a tough decision for dessert!!!

@ajrwdwgirl and @Songbird76 Disney just loaded lunches and dinners for the TH package. They were only booking breakfast until just a bit ago good luck. I just switched our breakfast to dinner

Thanks! I'll check it out and see if anything is left. Hubby thinks he wants to keep the breakfast though.

I don't do much buying either. I usually get something that I will use up, like kitchen magnet paper and pen. Or a special coffee mug. That's about it.

I usually don't buy much either. Always only a few pins, usually close to the end of the trip. And, I also bought that HM t-shirt on our Feb. trip.

Yes, I avoid buying something on vacation that I'm not going to use.

I end up coming home with quite a few shirts. I'd say most shirts I wear to school are either Orioles shirts or something I bought on vacation.

I could have bypassed the raspberry easily. I'm not a big fan of berries, unless it is in a margarita or daiquiri.

If you have the FP for the night show I'd probably keep the dinner...it's a nice dinner we've been before!

just keep whats new.. with the fastpass. Do not waste your time with dinning packages unless it is the full ROL show :O

I don't really think it's just the theme parks. You see it everywhere. The bathrooms in a mall or department store might be filthy, highways are full of litter. We were just commenting the other day in the car...we were driving home and the road we take is close to a McDonalds...there was McDonalds trash all over the shoulder of the road. Garbage cans everywhere, but people throw it out the window onto the road instead...it's easier. A couple of years ago, DD had a dentist appt. I sent DS (aka Mister Man, aka MM) to a friends house after school until I could pick him up after the dentist. I got there and he had been given a popsicle and the mom had allowed the boys (6 and 7) to walk alone to the grocery store. I NEVER let my kids go alone...they have no reason to be there, they don't carry money around with them, so they can't buy anything, and it's too easy to get wrapped up in shoplifting or something by going without an adult. But the mom told me the boys had gone to the store...so I started walking there and found the boys with popsicles and MM gave me his wrapper and said he didn't know what to do with it...the other boy says "Oh, just throw it here in the bushes" and I said NO, DO NOT. He asks why. We were just across the street from the store with a garbage can outside...all we had to do was cross the street and we could throw the wrapper away. How lazy is it to just throw it into the bushes instead of walking 20 feet? I explain to the boy that someone else has to clean that up and it's not that hard to hold onto it until you find a trash can. His mom just taught him to throw it on the ground. THAT is the culture we live in...it's not a theme park problem.

I guess that is all in where you live. When I see it happen in my everyday world I am too appalled. It is rare to find any trash around here and when there is it is usually from the top loading garbage trucks emptying bins on a windy day. When we have summerfest and the drunkies toss cups they are picked up by the next morning by the men's league who hosts the event. The Mc'Ds here is very clean as is its property.
When I was small there was a large effort to clean up the roads and highways and here the Chicago River. The Give A Hoot, Don't Pollute campaign. Same went for the Universities my kids attended. Look at any pictures of the Quad, there is not trash, lots of garbage cans and they are used. WDW is a unique place, all types of cultures coming from all areas of the US and abroad. Some with manners, some not.

It really is! It's a totally different park at night!

We hope to do everything at night, and in the day too. This will be so fun!

I've been able to be at AK multiple times after dark, it was 'a thing' for a short while. My curiosity is going to be the lighting intended for guests. The lights were very very low which seriously made you pay attention to how you walk. Most light came from waist on down but it did lend itself to beautiful views of the litup tree and Everest was beyond awesome. At that time the entire area of the Safari was sealed off so I wonder what the lights will be like in that area with living breathing creatures around. If you remember @betty rose will you have your hubby take a few photo's of the lights. I was there at dusk in 2014 and a few of the light poles guiding you out were pretty but I don't remember the rest and obviously the new for the areas we were not allowed in.
