Crazy. I had heard about it on the news, just didn't know it was @ajrwdwgirl school. Oy. My Nieces College Prep school, KP-12 tightens up their 4 years of middle school. Those years they put them in Uniforms, the staff doesn't let them pick partners, change up lunch seating, they do everything those 4 years to make them interact with everyone and everyone 'look' the same. Pretty ugly uniforms too. lol. I think they are onto something.

You saw story about my school in your area? Too bad it had to be about kids and guns. I wish our school would do uniforms, I think it would be a lot easier for staff and students.

I went in with a couple co-workers for this Powerball. Wish us luck! If we win, we'll ALL be in the bubble! :D

Hahaaa...!
This is only about the third time we've ever bought lottery tickets, scratch-off or otherwise. I put $2 into our office pool, and DWifey and I just bought 3 quick picks, plus 2 she wrote the numbers in on.
I know, a tax on morons, but, hey, when the jackpot gets this high, I don't have a problem bein' a little moron-ish...! :D :cyclops: ;) :)

I put a travel pillow and a larger flannel receiving blanket in my backpack which I take onboard vs a purse. I get chilly on the plane but need the air. The travel pillow about 12x9-ish, I found at Joann Fabric's in their pillow/foam rubber section. At times I've seen them in the infant area of places like Walmart and Target. If I take an early morning flight I like a window seat, put my headphones in, wedge my head between seat, pillow-window and try not to open my eyes again until we land. Rarely do I fall asleep but the rest helps when you're up at 2am.
I always request the window seat, with a cheap pillow, and if I fly on the right side, putting my good ear against the pillow, I can't hear a thing. So nice and peaceful!

Bets, you might want to buy a ticket (you can buy one for just $2.00) to the Massachusetts Powerball--it's over $900 million dollars--another drawing this evening. If you won, that might cover you staying in the "bubble" at WDW.
Hubby has already bought a couple. I hope several of us on Chit Chat could win, and at least have a great time in Disney. Good luck to all who have "invested" in our "Great Vacation". :joyfull:

Yes Sir. Actually Amazon is a little cheaper than what I had paid the first time. More like $100 each for the first set. Then I bought a set for my DD, then I bought another set for her dorm room and she bought yet another set for her new apartment. All and all about $1000.00 in pillows. But my first set lasted 5 years so $200 set for 5 years I am fine with as they are so comfortable and I got to test them out first in a hotel. Before that I spent lots of money in smaller amount on pillows that were not comfy, to warm, too overstuffed......so at least that cycle stopped.
I need to win the powerball to afford these....hubby would not let me spend this much. :jawdrop::p

I wouldn't try and win anything until after Mr. Sensitive is gone. You know he will try and get a share of it, if you're still married.

But in California, anything property obtained after the date of separation is considered separate property, not community. He can try, but he won't succeed! At least that's my understanding.

Yep, that much money is worth being a bit moronic to me, too!

I came from a very rich town, with a few families that controlled everything. They would never approve uniforms, as they wanted their kids to come to school in the most expensive clothes and shoes. I had a friend in grade school, the Miller family they owned our town as they started Cummins Engine Company. They are the big engines in most Trucks. Any way she was sent to a "finishing school in middle school"...When she returned, she acted as if she had never met me. This is the reason hubby and I moved to a big city. No one judges each other based on dollar worth.

I'm so, so jelly! I miss those. They've paved paradise and put up a parking lot!
They have a screen in front and a screen in back so if you want to watch a different movie you can. They're closed for the season but if they were open this week screen one would (for example) be Star Wars TFA/HG Mockingjay and screen two would be Good Dinosaur/Chipmunks.

I'm like a roller coaster. After my trip, in spite of a 14 day cruise I was down 5 pounds. I got them all back during the Christmas season. But, I am thankful because it could have been a whole lot worse then that.
You did great. My thyroid may be out of whack again. I'm gaining and not eating much. I hate having low thyroid. Doctor will tell me next appointment, with the blood tests. I missed my last appointment when my SIL passed. It was unexpected when she chocked to death. It was a blow to me, as she was really a nice "sister". Sorry Doc. :(
