OK, time for me to correct myself (I know it's shocking when we realize that I have an imperfection), however, I was thinking incorrectly. When I used to buy gas in Canada it was an Imperial Gallon. The comparison was that the Imperial Gallon was the equivalent of 5 American quarts. The American Gallon, was then and is now, 4 quarts per gallon. Sorry, I guess I didn't help and I am so, so ashamed of myself. There are 3.7854118 litres in a gallon for comparison so if you paid 93 cents per litre that would be the same as $3.52 per gallon.
