the other 20% was attending and make the in-school work (like projects and group projects)What was the last 20%? I think most of my classes were weighted more towards the homework side than exams. I did have one class for which it was exclusively exams. There were no homework assignments and everything on the exams was taken directly from the professor's notes. As long as you went to class and took notes, you were golden. It was known as a weedout course because so many people flunked it, but those were people who didn't bother coming to class or studying the notes. I never even OPENED my textbook and I aced the first 2 tests and got a 99% on the 3rd. And I had one day that I was feeling really burned out, so I went to the professor, told him I needed a day off, asked if it would be ok to miss his class if I got the notes from a classmate. He said he appreciated the fact that I was always in his class and made an effort to study, so he not only gave me the day off but gave me HIS notes to copy. He was pretty awesome.
you should have asked for an outfit change.Yeah, the salad sounded really good but was terrible. The dressing was really sweet and way overdressed.

Yum, yum, yum!! Hey, whatever happened to fondue anyway? It used to be very popular years ago and somewhat fell out of style, I guess--except for Madison. Maybe Madison will revive the trend, and it will become popular again. (If not, I just might have to move there . . .)
I used to love it years ago, and I often would "lose" the piece of bread (or whatever) on the little fork when I dipped it into the hot cheese pot! Ha ha ha . . . I was a bit of a fondue failure, but it was still fun!!![]()
I understand , why does weight go on so easily and so hard to lose? I'm still good for the bike, I rode 2 hours yesterday, while watching the cooking shows on PBS create, that @figmentfan423 mentioned. I wish now, I had recorded the shows, lots of good tips and ideas for vegetarian, or more veggies .
Last day in Venice. Tomorrow off to Rome.
I have to admit after a couple bad experiences I never went back. I noticed we don't have a farmer's market at that location anymore. Now, some of our grocery stores have a bulk bin, with stuff the farmer's have brought in. Much cheaper, and dirtier. I figure I can clean and do my own cutting. Saves a few cents on the pound.
that was one of the things I thought would be bigger.![]()
No , I'm in your league. I've never had the pleasure!
I don't know why people don't fondue more, it is delicious. The Melting Pot is a chain, but I don't know how widespread they are across the country. Maybe Disney Springs will get one. I think that the lounge at Wilderness Lodge offers a fondue. I might have to check it out in November.
i thought farming in Colorado involved lotsof light and heatWeird, I would have thought farming in Colorado would be relatively decent, with all that nice land.
Me too, after 45 years!Yes, she is. Although she's had 5 babies, so she's still trying to lose the baby fat.![]()
Too short of a growing season east of the Divide. West, yes. Funny we only get Colorado grown veggies once in a while. Most come from other places. We do have very nice peaches, and corn....very yummy. Can't do either anymore. Our tomato's bake on the vine, and we have very much clay soil. And little humidity, on this side (except this summer). I frankly don't know how farmer's do it anymore. The weather is extremely unpredictable. I tried onion sets. The easiest thing to grown in a pot in potting soil. They were almost so hard, I had a hard time cutting them. And I didn't leave them in the pot too long. I never had a problem growing all kinds of veggies in Kansas or Indiana. Much more humidity there. Maybe, I don't know how to grow them out here.i thought farming in Colorado involved lotsof light and heat![]()
