What was the last 20%? I think most of my classes were weighted more towards the homework side than exams. I did have one class for which it was exclusively exams. There were no homework assignments and everything on the exams was taken directly from the professor's notes. As long as you went to class and took notes, you were golden. It was known as a weedout course because so many people flunked it, but those were people who didn't bother coming to class or studying the notes. I never even OPENED my textbook and I aced the first 2 tests and got a 99% on the 3rd. And I had one day that I was feeling really burned out, so I went to the professor, told him I needed a day off, asked if it would be ok to miss his class if I got the notes from a classmate. He said he appreciated the fact that I was always in his class and made an effort to study, so he not only gave me the day off but gave me HIS notes to copy. He was pretty awesome.that study sounds pretty dumb. Obviously they will have better scores if homework is part of the work being counted for the overall score.
reminds me I once had a class that homework compassed 40%.. the other 40% was the exams.
