Sympathy like have you taken anything yet? Try and rest!
I immediately went and got a latte and took some Excedrin. Both are likely the reason I can still function. Might go upstairs in little where the cafe is and see if I can just get a cup of hot water (there is a chai tea bag in my backpack) since they don't have lattes on this campus. Unfortunately, I still have work this evening.

I ended up migrating indoors. The chairs outside are hard and were killing my back. And this guy at the table next to me was having a very loud conversation about his private relationship with his girlfriend, which I thought was classless, but I could tolerate. Then he started saying something nasty about kids with autism. I felt like going over to him and giving him a piece of my mind, but decided he wasn't worth it and left. Oh, college. :banghead:

Try and feel better! It's a good thing I wasn't with you as he'd get a piece of mine as well

The way he was talking about his girlfriend was almost enough for me to go over there and give him a piece of my mind. By the time he got to his part about the autism, I decided he was a misogynistic jerk (with another word in place of "jerk") and got up and left because I was so disgusted. But not worth it. If he had been talking to me, he would have gotten an earful on both counts.

He would have deserved it, I hope the gf is smart enough to dump his behind.

We have similar issues of having too many minerals.
Our shower heads get clogged very fast with white mineral residues. Annoying.
Take a plastic bag and fill with vinegar, and hang it over the head overnight. I use a rubber band. The mineral stains are gone. I also do a vinegar and baking soda bomb blast for the drains. Equal parts of each about a half cup, and let sit for thirty minutes and rinse with hot water. Haven't had to use a snake for years on the plumbing.

My 99 year old stepgrandfather rode his bike up until about last year. It was really good for him and likely the reason that, even with recently breaking his hip, getting pneumonia, and now ending up in rehab, he is still in better shape than my 80 year old biological grandfather.

That's super encouraging. I hope you get rid of the migraine. Worst pain ever!

That is a very stupid thing to do, he is in college. He certainly has no common sense or compassion. What a poor piece of humanity.

I agree. The way he spoke about his girlfriend and what they do or do not do in the bedroom was absolutely in poor taste, especially since he wasn't even talking to his friends about it in a private location. I also think we need more seminars and such on consent in this country because clearly, our population is uneducated on that topic (and there was another girl sitting with him listening to this conversation and she was just as poorly educated on the topic, so the education needs to be for both genders). And then when he made the comment about kids with autism...ugh. I hope his girlfriend gets out of that relationship. For the most part, conversations you hear walking around campus here are about school and jobs, so this was the exception, not the rule, but, ugh.
