Joined the club last night.My mum took it upon herself to head out into the garden last night (late) to sort something and proceeded to fall.
One trip to A + E later and she has a broken arm ...

Relaxing? What is that? Thanks to spending the day worrying, I busied myself and wrote 2/3 of a paper that isn't due until the end of the semester.

relaxing is a magical world that is almost unexistent for us grown adults.
We thrive to try to achieve this state which is almost impossible thanks to third factor involvements.

When I am upset or angry one can usually find me emptying a closet, dresser, cabinets. Something about the throwing of things into a bin helps.

I've heard of the cucumber illnesses going round but had yet to hear anything about their origin. I take it someone said they were from Mexico and they were not?

They havent found the source yet.
But its like.. the 4th time they have blamed Mexico first. They did a lot of finger pointing towards us in the TOMATO saga.. and it was the darn factory in the USA (that processed them ) that was infected.

One of the Sprout plants in question was near my DD university. Sprouts just by how they are grown in hot houses and strange soilish stuff makes me believe Sprouts have a potential for the growth process to go badly. I avoid them. Best picked off.

The one that has stuck with me was the great cantaloupe recall. Took a while to find the source of that recall for Listeria. And this year the ice cream recalls. Couple years back it was dogs and cats dropping dead because of an imported ingredient from China in pet food and treats. And yet I still eat.

I dont think its only in the industrialized world.
They said a bacteria killed entire herds of endangered Antelopes between Russia and Afghanistan.
40,000 animals or more death... in 3 days.

I'd like to understand the fascination of men with getting on the roof. What the heck?

My BIL maybe 30 at the time fell off the roof cleaning the gutters and really tore up his knee. I looked out my back window years back and watched 5 middle school boys next door running all around the garage roof. The fascination starts young.

Probably the "need" to have a higher level.
Just like how Men love to make competition out of everything or do their best to be above the rest (rank wise, power wise, game wise..etc..)
Its a "macho man" issue imho.

As a husband i have to say that when a wife says "don't do that" the husband hears that as "you can't do that" and takes it as a challenge.
Not saying we are right just how we think

thank you! but honestly, I prefer light rainy days.
The temps can get crazy (well above 35C when it doesn't rain) and paired with humidity.. its insane (thermal feeling of above 40C)

I'll be back later to catch up, but I have a question. I did more number crunching, and I looked up the menus of the 4 table-service restaurants we are planning to eat at and I picked the things we were most likely to order and added it all together. It came out to about $570-$600 for those few meals. So I looked at how much it will cost to upgrade to the regular dining plan again and it was $600. So, we might as well go ahead and upgrade if it's going to cost the same...then we get 10 TS meals for that instead of just four. (Thanks @figmentfan423 for the suggestion) So my question is, if you could only choose ONE Table Service restaurant for your trip, which would be your go-to? I'll look at reviews and such too, and we won't be doing signature dining like Le Cellier, but I'd like to know if there's a consensus on which places are the best. Thanks!
