Sorry, I didn't want to sound condescending or something.
I actually was thinking some of our members here were students, not teachers.

That's okay. I'm a little sensitive I guess to people (especially in my state of Wisconsin) thinking that teachers aren't really working and have an easy job. I know we aren't supposed to talk politics on here, but teachers in my state have been beaten up the last few years by the legislators and governor. No harm done by you though.

I noticed the Hallmark Channel plays a lot of Christmas movies in July. Oh and the shopping networks are selling everything for a happy holiday!

Yeah, I saw the Hallmark Channel was doing Christmas movies. I do love their Christmas movies but I couldn't bring myself to watch them. Singing a couple hymns in church for an hour is just enough.

Oh wow, I haven't had cream of wheat in a long time. That sounds really good. I liked when my mom would make it for breakfast (lumpy), and she would make a depression in the middle and put a pat of butter and a sprinkling of sugar over it then surround it with half & half. It looked like an volcanic island with the butter being the lava.

What's the one with the pink car, just right of Hanna-Barbera? I don't recognize it.

I think for the most part teachers are underpaid! Most of the ones I know work 12 hour days at least and have an advanced degree that they could take elsewhere for more money. Rant over as they need more love!

We have Outback, in Colorado. So they haven't gone out.

We got them in Mexico too, I was talking in Jennifer's case (Canada).

I wish a station would just broadcast all the "old" cartoons, I know I would watch!

I don't like any of those except the original Carrie.

The only ones of those I've ever seen all the way through were the originals and remakes of The Fly and The Thing, the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and the Exorcist.
Haven't seen any of 'em in recent years, except the original The Thing on TCM a few years back.

We're back on the 18th. The only good thing is we get out in early May.

Nice thing about college...

I go back on the 24th (well, 25th if I successfully get out of the 8 am on Monday mornings). I get off in mid December, get five weeks off, and still am done by mid May.
