Don't talk about such things! I have a school meeting on August 12th for just one day and but don't have to go back officially until the 24th. I'm going to hang on to summer as long as possible!

We're back on the 18th. The only good thing is we get out in early May.

Yup. No more Outbacks up here, so it's a not an everyday thing for us. Same reason we really enjoy Olive Garden.

Have fun on your trip! I love Olive Garden, I love most anything with pasta!

Did outback go out of business? did they had a bad year or something?

We have Outback, in Colorado. So they haven't gone out.

The Summer is coming to an end very quickly. I am to be back at school setting up my room on August 10th.

So sorry to hear that. Our grandkids go back August 10th. But, they get out May 24. Welcome to the chit chat room.

Good morning all. I made some progress on the organizing, and cleaning. Kitchen cabinets today!

Oh my. LUVS me some hummus, too.
Which, for some reason, also reminds me of how much I like pesto, as well...!

I like pesto with warm Italian bread.

I do that too. Ever since I was a kid I hate going out in the heat. Early morning and evening is when I go out in the summer unless I'm forced to go out during the day.

I don't like mid time heat of the day either. I plan morning trips. Too tired for evening.

Had plans with my friend. She just left a few minutes ago. We were out this morning and then brought back lunch and were just chilling over here. We hardly get to see one another during the semester between my school schedule and her work schedule, so this is our opportunity to spend time together. Actually, I've been getting up between 8-9 pretty much every day. Last night, I fell asleep at 11:30.

Hershey was great! I was worn out on Saturday and walking around like a zombie, but it was a great day. Mid 80s temperature wise, low humidity, and the lines were pretty short. Longest we waited was 45 minutes for the newest rollercoaster; everything else was 30 minutes or less. And we brought home lots of chocolate.

Glad you had a great time. You deserve it!

Must be something wrong with me--I rather like lumpy potatoes!!

I love potatoes, anyway they come. But especially baked, with coarse salt, butter and large black pepper. Now, I'm hungry!

Mmm...pesto yummy! Or to quote When Harry Met Sally: "Pesto is the quiche of the 80s."

Wow, you have a great memory for movies. I saw that movie twice, and don't remember that line. I like it, funny!

Well, I did like the fries (until I found out they used oil with beef flavoring) and apple pies, but never liked any of their burgers.

I like their morning biscuits, with egg.

Yep, watched tons of H-B back in the day, as well...!

My problem with cargo shorts are if I stuff them my shorts fall down. I'm too old for slouching shorts.
