I always wondered why they removed them and replaced them with popcorn.

I crave KFC mashed potatoes and gravy, and corn on the cob, when cooked properly. Yum!

Actually, that was probably only # 3 down the list of reasons against hosting the games. Truly, the main reasons were the lack of transparency in finances, and the useless traffic/transportation "plan" they tried to hide (until a legislator made them reveal that document). Reasons 1 and 2 killed it. Amen.

Glad it's going to be moved for you. The wear and tear on the streets, would be a long term cost too. And if your streets look like ours, they just couldn't take the increased traffic.

When I go to heaven (ha! Like that's ever going to happen??!! ), the temperature will never rise about 75 and no humidity (for summer months only), and the rest of the year will be between 10 degrees and 40. Divine . . .

Lately I'm in a salad phase. I love to sprinkle sunflower seeds on an avocado and tomato salad. That's my favorite go to salad.

I love salads in the summer. That's when we get decent tasting produce. Rest of the year, not so much.

My local grocer gets just enough veggies year round for a decent salad. Not as good as my farm market but not bad.

Trucking over the mountains, to the middle of country takes time, and the produce shows it for the most part. Tomatoes from Mexico are good in the winter, and bagged salad works, along with cabbage, and root veggies too. Wow, after listing, we have more than I thought about!

You bet, my hubby is meat and potatoes guy. I'm the veggie , bean and salad gal. He looks at my plate, and says, you eat so healthy. ha

That is so true. I really start getting into the Christmas Spirit the day after Thanksgiving.

I think it's perfectly reasonable. But then again I drink coffee right before bed.
