I made English style steak pies for lunch today. I found a couple recipes online and merged them together into something that I think turned out pretty good. I used puff pastry for the crust, that stuff rocks! Hubby was really happy for lunch today!

Hey girl! My ex has been putting me through some major drama and can't be on as much as I want either.

I feel for you more than I can express. Awful exhusbands and ex wives ( to be fair), should just go away and leave us in peace.

Been to quite a few pow wows down through the years, all over New England. Although this one coming up is a much smaller one than some of the others, it's nice and intimate; and I like talking to some of the dancers and drummers. Last year, I met a man from either Maryland or Delaware, and a symbol of his tribe was the turtle. I really liked his silver jewelry (arm bands) with the turtles. He was very nice. I like watching all of the Native Americans in the circle, and they always invite everyone into the circle to join in the dancing. I've never gone into the circle to dance (too shy . . .), but I like watching everyone. They always have a special dance for any veterans (Native or not) at the pow wow. I'll let you know how it all goes this Saturday. (Cliffhanger: Will MinnieM123 dance in the circle this weekend? Stay tuned . . . )

So, Gilligan's Island was on TV a little while ago. Now I know why The Professor was so smart (but could never get the castaways off the island, but that's another story . .. ). Anyway == The Professor had his BA from USC; his BS from UCLA, his MA from SMU, and his PhD from TCU -- at the age of fifteen!!

I love that show!

The Professor was hot. I had a HUGE crush on him.

I think what I like about Illuminations is the overall setting of the show, a nice ambiance in the world showcase. Love hanging back as everyone exits rapidly and taking in the WS at night. Im just OK with Fantasmic and really hate how long I have to be there in advance even with some type of reserved seating and sardine feel followed by how that venue loads and empties. I like Wishes however I'm too claustrophobic to be wedge in there with all those vertical bodies. If I watch Wishes it is either from Storybook or my favorite spot the ferry dock area outside the MK gates.

The thing I like about Illuminations is the possibility of a reasonably short line at Soarin.
