I like to take my favorite baked beans, slice up some hot dogs really thin, mix in an oven dish, put cornbread dough on top and bake. Voila, beans and weinies casserole for dinner. :)
Great idea. I love one dish meals. Going to do that for the fourth. Thanks for the great idea, I've done beans and dogs, but never put cornbread dough on top. Sounds delish.:hungry::hungry::hungry:

That sounds like heaven to me. Good restaurants. Denver restaurants, not so much. Except for Long Horn, and Texas Road House. :hungry:

Well I can't speak for Denver restaurants as I don't live there, although some of hubby's family lives there and others also up in the Rocky Mountains. Went to Colorado once with him some years ago, and I thought the food was really good. Yet, we drove all over the state; so I can't focus on Denver, as we only had one meal there. (It was very good though.)

I loved a couple restaurants when we first came here. They no longer exist. Things change.

Nah, I was pretty much just getting started, actually. I still need to finish mowing the rest of the front yard and then the back. Unfortunately, everything is way too soggy to finish today.
I was hoping to get all that done today, so I could relax and make strudel :hungry: tomorrow.
Looks like I'll just hafta' get up a little earlier in the morning (weather cooperating) so I can do both...! ;) :)
Can you ship some strudel to Ohio? :angelic::p

Ha ha ha . . . this is one of the most amusing things I read in a while (" . . . just keep up with the semi in front of me . . ") HAHHAHA!!! :hilarious: And to think your dad didn't have a clue what you were doing!

As for the pix of that car, man, that thing was a boat!! Because cars are so much smaller now (I'm not referring to SUVs, just regular cars), it's almost shocking to see just how huge those older cars were. ;)

The Delmont didn't even fit in the garage, width or length. The garage had 2 individual doors with maybe a foot and half between the doors. I remember the moment it didn't fit. I was real small but you tend to remember those moments when Dad has a melt down. The front end looked cool on the Delmont but all those points, it had to be expensive to design and manufacture, let alone repair.

Betsy (the Delmont) lasted forever and he gave it to one of the men that worked for him in the end that spiffed it up again. The car took only premium gas too, good thing that was before gas became out this world expensive but was not good during that Gas Shortage of the 70's.

My worst memory of the car is it is the one where we were in a hotel in Perry GA when MLK was murdered. My Dad knew to flee the area. That is the car my Sis and I were told to lay on the floor as people threw rocks, bottles extra at us as we made our way to the highway during the riots. I'll never forget it. Dad drove through the night and not stopping much until we reached Southern Florida where the police had more control over the streets. I was so young but remember the fear and the terror in my folks voices as they yelled for us to keep down.

What are some of the scary ones? o_O
I only seen a pair of images. And both of them look like they have real aliens on them.
kinda blurry but they have grey shapes.
And they are always "stalking" like position (aka watching the rovers)
Lets remember that theres like a 3 minute delay (or more )from the rover to the earth communications.
So the operators cant actually react instantly to what happens.

Anyway, lets take this with a grain of salt, as people with too many time can photoshop anything and make it convincing.
