Always heartbreaking.
Belle and Ranger are our 8th and 9th pups, respectively, since DWifey and I have been married.
Of those first 7, 3 died at home (one in my arms), and the other four had to be put down for various health reasons.
Four I buried in our back yard, one was cremated and the ashes kept, and the other two (ones we took on from family members who didn't want them anymore) were disposed of by the vet.
So nice of you to take in the unwanted pets. I can't imagine getting a pet, and not making it part of the family. Quick story...when husband returned home from a business trip, our dog would snoop in his suitcase. I always put a treat, in his suitcase before he left, and a little trinket for our daughter, they loved the little "gifts" dad brought home to them!

I found Stitch

He is a character here. I saw him two days ago. Lilo, however, is not.

Infinity hot tub

Two levels as you can tell. Adults only. Wasn't always adults only, but now it is. Which means I can use it and my brother can't. Which is fine. There's three other hot tubs here.

And the view from the hot tub...

Lovely.
Does the dark caves, resemble lava tubes? I thought of that when I saw the pictures. So pretty. I'm loving your pictures. I feel I'm there right with you. Another vacation day! It's wonderful.

Yup, went down both slides today. :)

It is wonderful. I encourage anyone who visits Oahu to spend at least a few days here, if for no other reason than the pool.

It's also great for kids. There's Auntie's Beach House, which is an activity center for kids. One of the restaurants does a character breakfast. And there are several water play areas just for kids. One even has two slides.

Speaking of the characters, a character greeting here is much better than at WDW or DL. There's only Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Stitch, Chip and Dale, and I believe Donald and Daisy, but they have way more time to spend with guests, the greetings are spontaneous, and they are just fun to watch because they can actually roam. For instance, two days ago, Stitch was trying to open a gate that said "closed" while his handler playfully told him no, yesterday, Chip was looking at a map with a guest while Dale played with a baby in a stroller, and today, Goofy was ankle deep in the pool interacting with the guests. Just much more spontaneous and a whole lot more fun.
You just reminded me of how Disney used to be. I'm still working on hubby, StarWarsGirl95!

I'd like to spend some time in SoCal (Disneyland, San Diego, LA), and then go to San Fransisco. We talked about doing that when I graduated high school, but ended up doing six days at Disneyland and then coming here for eight days. California is beautiful and so interesting; I'd love to see more of it.
I love San Fran, great eating. It's been years since we have been there, I bet a lot has changed. I fondly remember Fisherman Warf. Good seafood, and I'm not fond of seafood, I did eat some really good halibut, and sea bass. So mild tasting, just wonderful!

Ha ha ha . . . this is one of the most amusing things I read in a while (" . . . just keep up with the semi in front of me . . ") HAHHAHA!!! :hilarious: And to think your dad didn't have a clue what you were doing!

As for the pix of that car, man, that thing was a boat!! Because cars are so much smaller now (I'm not referring to SUVs, just regular cars), it's almost shocking to see just how huge those older cars were. ;)
I loved those old "boats", the weight gave them a nice "feel" when driving. You felt safer somehow. And cooler, sis had the big convertible Olds 98.

OF COURSE you do . . . :p Is there anything fantastic or fun that you don't have in donaldtoo's perfectly, perfect, perfection of a city??!! ;) Let's see . . . every store you'd ever want to shop at, every possible good restaurant that serves delicious food, the best backyard Texas barbecue :hungry: picnics, roadside stands selling fresh fruit and veggies, and even furniture (I seem to recall you had mentioned that one too . . .). I'm sure I must have forgotten at least something in my list here. o_O
That sounds like heaven to me. Good restaurants. Denver restaurants, not so much. Except for Long Horn, and Texas Road House. :hungry:
