When the kids were still in grade school, we used to go the week before and week of Labour Day, meaning they only missed 4 days of school. The difference between the first and second week was like night and day.
I don't mind the heat and humidity, but I sure wasn't crazy about this trip's cooler temps.

Our last 4 trips (2009, 2012, 2013, 2014) were all during F & W. (Missed 2010 & 2011 as those were the years my parents passed.) 2009 was okay; nice even. 2012, we arrived on the final night, so Epcot was nuts! 2013 and 2014 - Food & Wine crowds and behaviour were intolerable. Even Hubby, who enjoys trying new beers, was completely turned off. Says we're "too old for this ship".

So, September it is. Might even spend a day or two scouting out condos on the West Coast.

Universal this year did a no outside waterbottles into their parks unannounced to patrons during Mardi Gras. Ran out of garbage cans.

Yeah I don't like it either, however it's my daughter's favorite.

Would you like this? Banana bread peanut butter at Beaches and Cream. The restaurant was okay. I wouldn't go back but the dessert was wonderful. Extra scoop of PB worked wonderfully.

I don't remember but they used to have burgers. And I wanted the Home Run Burger, 4 burgers in one, (this was when I was a wee little lad) and my parents said no so I cried and cried. The end.

I like a lot of sweets that don't have chocolate in it. Schoolbread, this, Bread pudding, eclairs (chocolate only on top).

Oh man, that's a real dilemma for a cat. Chase a beam of light, or hang out in a box?
That's like choosing between bacon and more bacon.
Mine would choose the box. She won't go after the laser pointer. It's like she knows she'll never catch the laser pointer, so she gives me this look like, "What is the point?"

She likes her jingle balls. And if you can put the ball in the box, she's in heaven.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.

I've had this! I have declared multiple times that this is the best thing I have ever eaten on Disney property.
(Dessert-wise, anyway. It would be pretty hard to chose between this and the steak I had at the Yachtsman!)

Yes! I just bought them last week at a health foods grocery and have yet to try them. It's so odd having grown up (and having made) home-made pasta to purchase pasta in a water-filled bag. I hope to try them later this week.

IF you like them they are also sold at Walmart in the refrigerator case with the lettuce and veggies, likely cheaper.

I'm dying to know what you think.
My cousin and I made them a few years ago. Once we opened the bag, there was no amount of rinsing that could convince me to try eating them.

Oh dear... Now I am scared. Olive oil, a little parm reggiano, pecorino and garlic usually makes anything taste good - I'm hoping that holds true for this.

Dare I ask... Was it the smell? If so what did they smell like?

Good to know! The ones I found were at Woodman's (a huge grocery store that carries tons of health and international foods). I'll try them soon - we'll see!
