I like Dole Whips but given the choice, which they now have at the Swirl Stand, I'll take the Citrus Swirl.

I have yet to try one. This year, for sure.

I am totally over F & W drunkyfest, so we're going earlier this year - early September. Longer days, later park hours, zero crowds (relatively), and full heat/high humidity. Suits me!

It was quite cool during our trip this year, that I never even had my beloved Dole Whip Float.

that looks soooooo gooood D:

It is. :hungry:

That is why I was excited to see the sauce, enough for a family. $7 I can boil the noodles and add my own peppers, chicken and shrimp. The sauce I have tried to duplicate, it was OK just not the same. I like meals I can pull off in under 30 minutes.

Today the prep time for dinner was about an hour and 3 hours to cook. Paprika Chicken.

In something completely different.

I have tried searching everywhere and I still cant find the full text (lyrics and the conversations) of the full show of the festival of the lion king.
Im surprised theres lyrics of everything.. but nothing of the festival of the lion king show.

you welcome ;)

I'm surprised. I wonder if it is 'cause it is relatively new. Sooner or later I'll ask. My DDs dorm buddy is in the Festival of the Lion King.

We went one year the day after Labor Day, yeah those teachers loved me. We waited for nothing. You are right though, it is real humid still and park hours are often much shorter and likely by then they will be celebrating
Halloween. The absence of lines made the humidity and heat far more tolerable.

its been for years!

I think.. hmm.. more than 10+ years old (started in 1998 according to wikipedia)?
so I am definitively surprised.

also, he is?

I hope he can also send big props to CM handling Timon and the main singers in the last show of the day (February 15)
it was off the hook! best show I've ever seen (in the 20+ times I've seen it )

Disney reworked the show when it moved. The cast was let go and they had to reapply for positions. Some came back, some did not. And yes, she is one of the new cast members hired for the new version.

When the kids were still in grade school, we used to go the week before and week of Labour Day, meaning they only missed 4 days of school. The difference between the first and second week was like night and day.
I don't mind the heat and humidity, but I sure wasn't crazy about this trip's cooler temps.

Our last 4 trips (2009, 2012, 2013, 2014) were all during F & W. (Missed 2010 & 2011 as those were the years my parents passed.) 2009 was okay; nice even. 2012, we arrived on the final night, so Epcot was nuts! 2013 and 2014 - Food & Wine crowds and behaviour were intolerable. Even Hubby, who enjoys trying new beers, was completely turned off. Says we're "too old for this ship".

So, September it is. Might even spend a day or two scouting out condos on the West Coast.

Oh Sorry. :( I liked the look in Jett's eyes. He'll be a fun companion for someone. Can picture him chasing a tennis ball non stop.

We had one Pup that had to go back before we adopted Jethro. First he went after my female golden, wrong move, she put him in his place right off. So then he started cornering my DS or herding him. He made it from dinner time to 8am next morning when DS finally came out of the top bunk. He was a sweet Flat Coat Retriever that just was meant not to be with children or other dogs. And I made that suggestion when he was returned to sender. Made me wonder if that is how he wound up in the shelter in the first place.

Thanks.
He stood his ground, and there was no real contact, but, Belle just wouldn't leave him alone. We had to keep separating them. When they were apart, and even with Ranger he was perfectly fine and content. Belle's just very dominant, and wasn't havin' any of him. I even made the suggestion, while we were still at the shelter and hadn't taken Jett home yet, that maybe we should just put a hold on him and bring our other dogs for a meet and greet the next day to see how they got along. The guy said they were really crowded and it would be much appreciated if we took him right then and there. Should have gone with my original instinct.
Such a good dog he'll make some other family, though.
