Five spice powders?! How many spices do you have in your kitchen already?! (Never mind, don't answer that.)I ran out of 5 spice powder and forgot to put it on the list, so I put it on the curbside order I'm picking up tomorrow. Does that count![]()

List? when you have a grocery app on your phone, it makes it a lot easier to do shopping. I'm not a constant cell phone OCD'r but I did find that app to be handy. I want something I just speak into my phone and like magic it shows up on my electronic list. As I put things in the cart I touch the item on the screen and it goes off the list to a second list below. I still do sometimes forget to add to the list if I notice something is needed and I don't happen to have my phone handy. The bad part about that is that I will see I need something and say to myself I have to add that to my list and then I make the mistake of walking about 10 steps and by then have forgotten what it was I wanted. Quite similar to walking into a room and not remembering why you went there. But shopping from my electronic list also prevents me from buying stuff I didn't need. When my screen is empty, I'm done and can go straight to the cashier.Actually, I brought a list. Because it was a new recipe, I wanted to be sure I got all the extra stuff. I just never wrote down, "chicken" . . .![]()
We don't talk about it
