Wow, They really blew the Effects budget in the finale.
That was INCREDIBLE!!

That Enterprise D fighting with all its glory, all guns, all phasers.
The spacedock fight.

The whole thing...

Man, the feels.

In the other side, I really expected them to get the Odyssey class Enterprise. Not the LUNA (titan) class.

And I'm so angry that they censored Seven's line for the future series.

This reminds me, from back in the day, of the Terminix bug down near the UT campus that was often being stolen by fraternities as a prank…!!!!!

Ha! Love this! Brought back memories of just how much fun the old roadside signs were. There were a number of various, iconic ones up here in New England. Plus, I recall my father used to use them for landmarks, when the family went on car trips in the summer. (Although I can't find a photo of the exact one, there used to be a giant Mr. Peanut sign (similar to this one) on Rt. 1 North, in MA. That was one of my father's favorite ones. You could spot it from miles ahead. )

Not sure how familiar your with 95 South in RI but I use the former Apex site next to 95 in Pawtucket a lot. I'm oh, where Apex used to be. The building is still there or was there. I think a soccer stadium is going in that area. Though the site has changed plans so many times, I have no idea.

Our politicians have been nervous about lending companies public money since 38 Studios (Curt Schilling's company) went bankrupt. That's why the PawSox are in Worcester, the state didn't lend them money for a new stadium (and the owner didn't want to renovate the old one) which ironically was supposed to be in the same area. Which always gets me, billion/million dollar companies that can afford these things asking for public money.

That's interesting about the PawSox, and now I know why they left RI. I know a guy who's gone to a few of their games, and sometimes it's hard to even get tickets. (The tickets are also so much cheaper than the Red S. in Fenway, as well.) So the (WOOSOX) are doing well out in Worcester. I know that Worcester spent a lot of dough on upgrading the area (stadium, etc.). It's paid off.
