Here's a few vacation food pictures. (Click on thumbnails for full images.)

We were both hungry hounds. 🐶 :p The challenge was to photograph any meals -- but we kept plowing through them, before I could get photos! (Hubs' meals were impossible to photo, before he "inhaled" them!) :joyfull: :hilarious:

After a few bites, I took a photo of my panini sandwich (turkey, lettuce, tomato, cheese, avocado) -- lunch up at the Appalachian Mountain Club, in Crawford Notch.

Next morning, (at our country inn), the breakfast photo was already halfway through mine -- (eggs benedict). :hungry: Hubs already devoured his cinnamon French toast, fruit, etc. The following morning he had a huge plate of eggs, bacon, toast, and hunter's hash. (Hunters was heavy on the venison in the mixture.) :hungry: Meanwhile, I had pancakes, scrambled eggs, and sausages. :hungry:

The one dinner photo I got at the inn was my rack of lamb -- Yum City!! 🥰 :hungry: (Wish I could show you the roasted duck dinner he had. The next night -- hubs had an amazing lobster ravioli dish, and I had prime rib.) :hungry: :hungry: :hungry: :hungry:

I'm terrible at getting food pics. If E's with me, she'll usually remind me. Otherwise I forget.

Hash is one of those things I always HATED. Maybe it was just the way my mom made it, but I always found it disgusting. I never got full when mom made hash. Now Prime Rib I can get behind!! Yum!

Regarding hash, there are various recipes. I also used to hate my grandmother's hash (bland).

But when someone else makes it correctly, it's actually quite tasty. And the "hunters" (venison) version of hash is outstanding. I had a few bites of his hash yesterday, and it was beyond YUMMY!!! :D (Then again, I don't know what secret spices the chef used, but it was awesome!)

Yeah, I think my mom used Spam, which I was never a fan of, and then she mixed in other things I didn't like, too. I don't remember, but it's not one I ever bothered to ask her how she made it because I was NOT going to make it.

Hi all -- we're back from a few days up in the White Mountains, NH. Had a blast!

Weather was awesome -- nice and cold the past few days, and this morning (early, around 5 AM), it was down to about 28, with a gusting wind chill. Ahhhh . . . glorious cold weather!! 🥰 (Each day it warmed up midday to around 40 -- depending upon elevation and location.)
So happy you had a great trip and glad you had cold weather to enjoy.

The entire crew of the Enterprise G and many involved in production and writing said they're willing to sign on for a new series, the entire crew, and will be as fun as any crew in the past

I mean, they can't leave us with a mostly dead Q at the end and then not continue. I mean, really...
