Fyi: If anyone still has any gift cards from Bed Bath and Beyond -- use them FAST. They just filed for bankruptcy today. The remaining stores they have will stay open for a while (no exact time given for closure). Also, if anyone has a 20% off coupon -- those expire this Wednesday.

I'd try and use them online tonight or first thing in the morning because depending on the type of bankruptcy they may already be worthless:(

Knew a cast member from WDW and she joined Bed Bath and Beyond years ago for greener pastures. If she’s still there won’t be there for long.

I keep getting calls from recruiters for a company I know is filing for bankruptcy. They call me and describe the company and I'm like, "Yeah, this is for company XYZ right?" "Yup". "Yeah, that's an accounting nightmare I'm not wading into."

I interviewed with them on the day I got the job offer from my current company...thank goodness I didn't go to work for them.

I never knew the Eiffel Tower had stairs! Cheaper ticket that way.

London museums liked reservations but honestly not one museum asked if I had my reservation. Needed reservations for the Walkie Talkie building which asked for us to bring passports but again they never asked for them.
They do have stairs but there is a better than even chance one would be dead by the time they get to the top. James Bond made it look easy.

Wow, if people think Disney tickets/reservations go fast I have just recovered from trying to get tickets to the Eifel Tower for one of my dates in June. Tickets open at midnight Paris time and I switch my computer settings to France time and both my husband and I were trying for summit tickets but we had to settle for 2nd floor for the 9:30pm time we wanted. My niece wants to go in the day time too so hopefully we can get summit tickets then, but ooff it was in our carts and then nope they weren't. Wish me luck tomorrow.
I don't remember how far in advance we bought our tickets but when we were going probably helped. We went there in mid-October. I just checked the old itinerary and it was October 22nd. There were still a lot of people roaming about and a fairly large line of people buying them in a little location under the tower. I only remember two levels, but there are a lot of things that I blank our of my mind to make room for other things like where I put my glasses. I seem to remember the first level as housing the restaurants and gift shops, but I only remember the top being basically just observation. There was one level higher but that was where Mr. Eiffel had a room and office. I never understood why because by the time they got to the top it was just about done so I'm not sure why that would have been needed, but that was what we were told. And I obediently just said Oui - Oui, merci beaucoup and moved along.

Well I got the tickets for the Eifel Tower today, tickets to the summit, close to the time I wanted too. My niece is super happy that she will be able to be in the tower at night time at during the day. My sister is afraid of heights and says she is going to freak out in the elevator. I say I'm going to need to go to the champagne bar in the Tower then. Tomorrow I'll start making some reservations for the other places we are going to go like the Louvre and Versailles. The last time we went reservations weren't a thing at the museums and palaces, just at the Eifel Tower. You could buy tickets in advance but just show up whenever.
