Well we did sleep in, but we had to go to my in-laws' to get their car so we have 2 cars for the week so my husband can get to work, but I can get A to school. He isn't strong enough to ride his bike there yet, and we don't think he's going to be able to make it full days anyway. So I need to have a car to take him there and pick him up when they call me and say he's exhausted. Last time, he got out of the hospital on a Monday and we kept him home for the rest of the week to get his strength back, but then the following Monday, they called me at like 1:30 or so and said he was exhausted and could we come pick him up, but I didn't have the car. He said he'd bike home, but he ended up having to get off his bike and walk it. So this time I said we should take him by car for this first week.
He had 9 lives and then some
Depending upon the show and the network, commercial time has grown over the years. I've found that when I've DVR'd a 2-hour show and watched it afterwards, often I can knock off (up to) 30 minutes of commercials by fast forwarding through them. That's how bad it is now (again, depending upon individual show/network).I remember when commercial breaks were 90 seconds, MAX. Just blows my mind.
