right now I'm afraid to turn out the lights because the thunderstorms tolling through have been so bad my house shook and every few minutes it looks like there's a fireball outside At least with all the shaking I've been doing I'm not as cold had it been a calm night

So we have this old Java based application that we're still using. Because it's Java and it's stupid, it decided to lock me out on Friday. "Security reasons." I called IT; they spent 45 minutes messing with my computer and then said they needed to do some research and get back to me. Well, I couldn't do my job without this application; it's how we put in journal entries, access AP stuff, etc. So I did some Googling and played with it and bypassed the security issue.

Today I got a message from IT: we're sorry we haven't figured out the issue yet; we think we know what it is! I told them I already fixed it and here's what to do. They told me that was exactly what they were going to do. Oh good, you figured it out three business days AFTER I did.

Believe me, I know. There's a cat scratcher and toys in the room. I also keep storage cubes stacked in front of a window. It used to be so Belle could get up in the morning and look out without waking me up. Now Ella likes sitting there while I'm working.
