I took 5 days off from work and completely vegged out on the couch.

Looked at the computer like twice to check on updates of Dorian. That was it. I got sooo lazy.

Still recovering from a crazy, busy long weekend. Parade, performances, shuttling kids. Almost a vacation to go back to a "normal" day. But I wouldn't change any of it.

Sometimes staycations are the best. You can relax and not spend money. Best of both worlds.

Nope. We postponed ‘til later in Oct., after our Southern Caribbean cruise. Although, I still took today off with vacation days piling up, but, I’ll be back to the office tomorrow morning.
We postponed even before our flights were officially cancelled.
We rescheduled for Tues., Oct. 29, as our flights were the exact same price.
We’ll be needing to head to the airport about the time MNSSHP is beginning anyway...!!!

Watched a coupla’ live feeds from WDW this mornin’. One about 45 mins. long from MK, the other about 66 mins. long from DHS.
Checked on Dorian, of course.
Beyond sick to my stomach about Grand Bahama. Have never been there before, but, those poor people. All the prayers the world can spare for them and all affected doesn’t even come close to covering it.

@ajrwdwgirl Have you guys ever stayed at the Hilton adjacent to the convention center in Anaheim? I found it for $135 and booked it for two nights. My parents are talking about going to Maui, but I can't take addition time off of work, so I was thinking of just staying there for the weekend and going home that Sunday. I know you can't walk to DL from there; is there a shuttle? For that rate, I don't care; I'd take Uber.

Sorry for the slow response, it has been a busy day. I have looked into it but we haven't stayed there. It is too far away from the main gate of DL & DCA for me. It doesn't have a shuttle but people have told me that they have used the Toy Story parking shuttle for transport. We just stayed at the Candy Cane and that was nice, there are some decent rates for that hotel and it is right at the end of my walking limit. It only took about 7-10 minutes of walking to get to DL & DCA. We stayed at the CC because it was only about a 5 minute walk to the entrance for the Convention Center (for Expo) and the Hilton is behind that so maybe another 5 minutes. We are working on collecting our Hilton points for Japan but it is never worth the extra of getting the Toy Story shuttle or more walking to stay there.

Did anyone see the new Star Wars series coming to Disney+? It looks incredible. I’m so over these streaming services.. but, I’ll have to get Disney... luckily ESPN+ is included which does soften the blow, a little.

We signed up for Disney+ at D23 Expo, it was a great deal. And I finally have my husband convinced to get Hulu live so now we are going to save $$$$ and he'll get his sports. With the money we are saving by leaving DirecTV we can keep Netflix. But we won't be getting a couple channels, like Hallmark so I guess I'll have to live without all those Christmas movies! Hallmark apparently has their own streaming service too but I'm not paying for another service. I think I'll have enough to watch with Disney+.

We were very pleased with this attraction too. I know some people have dismissed it or say it isn't great if you aren't the pilot but I have enjoyed every ride I've taken. Engineer and pilot are my favorite positions, gunner was okay. Have you been able to ride in all positions yet?
