Strange thing happened to Hulu today for me. I turned on Hulu for NASCAR race, but had to get out Hulu before getting back it.

The problem was tv screen freeze with picture on NBC and it was keep repeating the same word non-stop. The good news is after I got back on Hulu, the problem was gone. I don't know what caused that.

None of my 4 kids have the same colored eyes. Dh and I each have hazel, but mine are more green, hus are more blue. This has created a kid with blue eyes, one with green, one with deep brown, and one with brown that has an amber tinge. Genetics of eyes is so interesting.

Indeed, and cool...!!! :)
Yep, similar here. DWifey has the beautiful blue eyes, I have the poopbrown ones with green flecks, DS has the green, and youngest DD has the dark brown...go figure...?!

My Father had one green eye and one brown eye. From what I read that usually skips one generation and then shows up again. Neither of my girls had that though and my nephew doesn't either. Mine have the same brown eyes as their mother and me.

I think I have stated that I am not much of a movie fan, I don't have the patience to sit through a full movie, but the other night in a massive fit of boredom I watched a movie that is a few years old now called "Bucket List", starring Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson. It's about two terminally ill cancer patients who decide to accomplish what is left of their bucket lists. Nothing about it is a realistic look at what having Terminal Cancer is really like, but, the acting made it believable for me. It didn't have are very happy ending, but basically my focus was on the acting by the two main characters. It kept me glued to the couch watching it.

OK, so no particular reason to have posted this. There is no moral to be taught and nothing but entertainment. I guess my age drew me to it more then anything else.

I saw that movie in the theatre... I remember liking it.

That's happened to me with Hulu before... we use a amazon firestick to stream it... so I just go to applications, force hulu to quit, and then reload.

Which is funny because my mom has grey eyes, my dad has green hazel, and my brother and I somehow came with the exact same color brown eyes. We don't look very alike otherwise, so it's kind of strange.

I can tell you, my younger brother and I don't have the same eye color. My eye color is the same as our dad, and my younger brother's eyes have the same color as my mom's.

Hair color is a different animal. My hair color is neither of my parents. My hair color when I was a young kid made me similar to Ralphie in Christmas Story. The catch is while my hair is blond, it got darker with age even when I was a teenager. My hair is a dishwater blond and I was told by my mom that her dad had that hair color when he was alive. I only say the old black and white style picture of him since when died when my mom was 11 due to health problem.

Today was not thought out well. We took a train to Chicago. When you board a train and young girls only top is a bra and skin glitter you kinda say UhOh. It was Lala Palusa weekend. Add in A Cubs Game. Add in Chicago Bears Family day.

We went to Chicago Grinder again and the Lincoln Park Zoo. Fun was had. Highlight of day was two gorillas stalking and fighting. The same dude beat his chest 3 time with a sound echoing that I’ve i only heard on TV and then they’d wrestled. One between Beaton medicine ball the fights we watched. I was in awe.

Can’t believe I’m still up, but the day went great, the ring was double what it was two Saturdays ago (our last week in the old place.) (Not record setting (ha!) but definitely a strong Saturday for that store, especially in August.

Can’t make too much out of a good ring yet (our other store was lower than usual) but i can say with certainty it was not a failure out of the gate. With just a FB post at 10pm the night before, we had better than a usual Saturday. That’s such a relief!

If we had been twiddling our thumbs all day and not ringing much, I’d be a whole new kind of mess right now! 🤪

Gotta wake up in 3.5 hours so...Zzzzz...
