I'll miss you this year. :(

Bummer!

We were going to do 2 nights that week and 2 nights the week after (just for F&W - to do a couple of luncheons.) AP’s are done on 9/6.

But B’s schedule doesn’t line up except that Monday, and the only luncheon that day is the one we did last year (Spice Road.) So it didn’t seem worth all the driving back and forth, antagonizing the dog, etc. so I just added the third night to August. Will spend that Sunday just enjoying the resort.

Still not 100% ruling out a cheap Spirit day flight for that one luncheon lol. Arrive 9am, leave 6pm. We’ll see.

@Tony the Tigger

How has Brian been feeling lately? Well wishes. ❤

He’s great. The good eye has recovered, the promotion was appreciated.

So when is round 2?

Most likely no round 2.

My brother is taking his kids from NJ in early November, so we may go up for a resort visit.

I have to be disciplined and save my points for the first cruise maybe Fall 2020.

I can’t stand hot dogs. But the veggie ones at Casey’s after park close are really good!

Well that is great news. (I miss huge chunks of posts)

Most likely no round 2.
I misunderstood. I thought you were coming back Labor day. Oops :(

My brother is taking his kids from NJ in early November, so we may go up for a resort visit.
Well that would be fun. I miss having kids with me at times, other times not so much. We can go to Adult places now that they are adults. I never took my kids to bars and lounges. I was the kinda Mom that believed in That time and a place for everything so I am enjoying adult kids.

I get that though I'm not likely to join you on a Boat. I'd rather look at water from a beach. Just how I roll. Plus it is free.

I can’t stand hot dogs. But the veggie ones at Casey’s after park close are really good!

Yeah I've never tried their Veggie Sausage. I'm just glad they silently got rid of their Chicken Dogs. Do just dislike hotdogs or is it a no red meat thing? Me I love Fish. I could eat fresh fish every day.

Just popping in - busy as heck week - but...

Brian went in yesterday for his last scheduled day of work until next month. (I think I mentioned they were intentionally not letting him work more than one week in May and one in June so as to avoid being forced by law to give him full time benefits.)

We had been wondering what was going to happen yesterday because if he worked a whole day, it would put him over on hours. Didn’t know if they would cut him early, or if he would go over and they would just make him full-time, or if he would go over and they would just fire him.

Is the suspense killing you?

Full time. Promotion to upper management. Raise. Benefits. (Details to be revealed to us soon.) Fewer hours overall. And no work drought through July.

Relief!

I had to search his promotion. I obviously missed this. A relief indeed and congratulations to him albeit very tardy.

@Mr Ferret 88 , the 4th photo looks like it's your last one, before driving the car into the ocean?! :p

I like the photo of the quiet country road. (Our roads around here are so congested and crazy with too many cars.) I also really like the inner harbor photo with the boats. Looks peaceful. :inlove:
The quiet country road is a looking back from a coastal car park

Taken from where the red dot is facing the direction of the arrow.
The second is the outer harbor of the place where i work.

I have been fortunate enough to reach the age where I don't really care one way or the other about my credit numbers. I'm not going to buy a house or a piece of heavy construction equipment or a new yacht or become anyone's sugar daddy... so try and get me to pay charges that I didn't create.

Only one thing that bothers me about this statement... didn't you say you were going to have to look for a new place soon? Almost everyone pulls a credit report these days for housing.

@figmentfan423 , what kind of deer like to visit your backyard? The other morning I was walking along a path in some nature trails in my area, and I saw a deer (never saw deer there before, although I heard they were around). Then I saw a second one. They were tall (from a distance, at first I thought they were moose), but as I got closer, I could see they were deer. I looked up their size and markings, and they were white-tailed deer. :)
