Hershey is going to be getting a new coaster next year called Candymonium. My son cannot wait for it. We may get ap's for Hershey next year because all the construction will be completed.
I just renewed mine. The nice thing is you can put is on a zero interest payment plan for twelve months. I just renewed mine to the King size pass. They were doing a sale, and it was only a bit more than what I paid last year. That one comes with the drink plan, all the discounts the free parking, and two comp tickets, one for spring/summer and one for fall. So I can bring my mom. Since we did the drink plan this year, I added it, and it was $8 more to do the King Size pass, which has the comp tickets, than the Full size with the drink plan, which does not.

They're doing a sale right now.

Thank you. Are these new tiers? I don't remember them offering 3 types of passes before. These are really good prices. Maybe you can answer this. On the bottom I checked the "add unlimited visits......2019 for $95". Do you think this means that for $95 in addition that that will include a season pass for the rest of 2019?

And back to the data breach problems. There needs to be better security and I don’t know if it is possible nowadays with the internet. There is always going to be a way to hack into a companies computer systems. It is just plain obvious at this point. Maybe everything needs to be fingerprinted. I don’t know. But there should be more accountability.
Agree, and I'm still wondering why some members here claim that "is free money".
You will probably have to waste time changing passwords, re-securing your data.

Not free money for sure. Not enough either. We pay almost $600 a year for lifelock in order to protect us from identity theft. It is sad that we have to pay to have our identities safe. More money wasted and these companies that have most of our personal information cannot even secure themselves. My anger says that these credit companies should all be closed down.

Yup, they're new tiers. And yes, that $95 option is to add on for the remainder of the 2019 season. They always have that option this time of year for new passholders.

I don’t even watch the Bachelorette, but I’ve heard of Jed. 😂. He’s the guy who came on for his music career and had a girlfriend, right?
I had seen a lot of posts on social media after the hometown visits.

I do wonder how much of that is pushed by the producers, did the girl really not have any suspicions?

One can never be sure with these "reality" shows. They do make for some great entertainment, though! My own hunch is that she was not aware of anything he was hiding about his past. Happens in "real" life sometimes as well, so I guess we could assume that she "might" not have had a clue.

Yes, some REAL accountability -- much higher fines, and jail for some, depending upon the nature of the breach, and if it was something that was known, but not fixed quickly. (And those thoughts I'm mentioning here are coming from law enforcement agencies.)

Biometrics are helpful in certain situations, but that's only one tool that can be utilized. (When I worked at the hospital, our medical staff had finger scans to access the Omnicell. There were some glitches though, when it would not "read" the fingerprint -- especially if there was even a tiny bit of lotion on the finger. (With them washing their hands constantly throughout the day, they sometimes used the hand lotion dispensers at the sinks.) Then, they couldn't get into the Omnicells! :hilarious:

Wasn't the Equifax breach hidden for a bit before they released the information? I think I remember hearing that. They make money off our personal information and then they cannot even keep it safe. If they can't keep it safe they shouldn't be privy to it.

Amen to all that. It's just infuriating.

Note: the recent Capitol One breach had been going on since MARCH??!!!! Yah ... what's with the holdup of time to inform those affected?

My bank had an issue a while back. A couple of now-former employees possibly leaked information. The bank sent a letter saying they didn't think anything was compromised, but just in case, they were offering free credit monitoring through a third party service. This was over a year ago, and I've never had an issue. Gotta say, I really like my bank.

Equifax offered free monitoring for a year after the breach, and then extended it with a different company for another year ... now they get to pay money on top of it.
