OK, so shortly after mass today we went to my folks house so they could celebrate oldest DDs and my youngest bros (oldest DDs uncle) belated birthdays, as this was the first weekend everyoneā€™s schedules worked...!!! :)

Our dear lilā€™ Emy still in her church outfit with her very first passport for our October cruise...!!!!!!!

I don't think I've ever seen a passport for a baby before! :joyfull:;) The other thing that I found hilarious was seeing Emy sitting ON the table. That's her direct approach to getting close to all the food! :hilarious:

My plate...!!!

My goodness, all that delicious food on the table, and your "round 1" (I presume . . . ;) ) on your plate. Yum! Your family always puts out a good spread. :hungry:

Weā€™ve been through this same song and dance before...please donā€™t lump most every other man but yourself into a group that doesnā€™t know how to aim properly, clean himself properly, flush, and wash his hands with soap and water when he is done using the restroom. I, definitely, donā€™t fall into that group of men that needs to grow up toiletry-wise. And, Iā€™m not often anywhere where Iā€™d say they do.
Our menā€™s restroom at the office has never looked like anything crazy has happened in it.
Have I been in public menā€™s restrooms that have looked like hell...? Yes. But, if all us men were that way, can you just imagine what it would look like...?!?!?! :eek:o_O
A bunch of guys do, indeed, need to grow up in that respect, but, many of us also did that in a timely manner.

Plus, having lived in a household with 3 women with the family DWifey and myself started for a good many years, Iā€™ve heard more than enough horror stories about womenā€™s restrooms in our travels.

OK, night vent over.
Sorry to get you in a frenzy, but, I don't recall mentioning you by name in my post. And since I am male and complaining about it apparently I do not do that either. After living in a household consisting of nothing but females (including the cat) even after living by myself for two decades still puts the seat back down after I use the bathroom. (sad) I am close to 20 years older then you and have seen a lot more restrooms (more as one gets older) then you have. And I am speaking generally not specifically. I will bet you anything that more often then not you will come across an un-flushed toilet in those places. Useless paper seat covers, like anyone has caught some major illness through the cheeks of their butts, half in the water and half stuck to the seat. I don't frequent ladiesrooms so I am not speaking for them. It isn't just myself that is experiencing this, it is every male that uses one. I am not the only one that gets to walk in after irresponsible self-involved jerks use them and leaves behind a mess for others to deal with. It, in recent years, has become almost pandemic. Your experiences also don't necessarily reflect the experiences of others either. Either you have been lucky or unobservant because it is there everywhere. Enough so that I expect it instead of being surprised by it.

OK, morning vent over!

Very nice photo, Mr. Ferret!

A few observations: looks like your steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car (suggest you get that fixed).

And what is that "thing" on the dashboard (not Orange Bird), but the thing to the right --that black circular thing)?
If i put the wheel on the other side then Donna would be driving ...

The black circular thing is the boost guage.

Iā€™m well aware my name wasnā€™t mentioned anywhere in your post. You respond to posts of mine all the time that are not directed at you our tagged with your name. I rarely do same in regards to you.
I know your statement was more general, but, I just donā€™t wannaā€™ be mistakenly lumped in with those pigs.
Also, I am immediately aware of an issue with a menā€™s facility when I walk into it, so Iā€™m not unobservant, but, Iā€™m also not seeing the things you are as rampant as you apparently are. I actually canā€™t remember the last time in recent years that I walked into a menā€™s facility and saw a major problem. Everywhere from our office building to our local mall, to JSC a couplaā€™ weekends ago, etc.
Although, I definitely remember some from over the years that looked like a low-grade bodily function device went off in them, as well as DWifey and the DDs telling me similar from time to time.
Anyway, as I said, Iā€™m definitely not seeing it as much as you are. If thatā€™s just luck, Iā€™ll take it...!

OK... do we really need to argue about this? I feel like this has become a very hostile environment lately. Knock it off!

Frankly, and as a participant, I didnā€™t see a whole lot of flat-out arguing or hostility there, and we both ended our posts with a touch of humor. Just a difference of opinion, thatā€™s all.
Itā€™s been goinā€™ on in this thread from time to time between different members since its inception several years ago, and Iā€™ve been here from the first day of the thread.
No biggie.

Well maybe not to you, but lately I've felt annoyed with some of the hostile responses that I've been getting as well as responses others have been getting. I'm a pretty thick skinned person, but after awhile it just becomes annoying.

Yes, it can get annoying. But, as I posted, itā€™s been goinā€™ on off and on in this thread since day one.
The way I deal with most of it is by just whistling past it and movinā€™ on, even with a lot of stuff directed at myself. But, like others, sometimes I feel the need to comment.
Itā€™s the ebb and flow of the thread that I, personally, have gotten used to over the years.
So yes, no biggie to me. :)

I got ddā€™s competition schedule. Looks like 9 between December and the end of April. We will be traveling to one in Morgantown, WV for the first time so that will be exciting. The furthest one will be in Pittsburgh. Most are in Maryland outside Baltimore. They have choreography camp later this week where the routines get put together. This is the exciting time. Hoping for no cheer drama. Have I mentioned though how one mom isnā€™t speaking to me? I say hello everytime I see her and she just ignores me. Apparently she thinks my dd is in competition with hers. What happened to a team sport? I had considered telling the coach like one mom wants me to but I think I am better off by just killing her with kindness.

Yep most water parks do to draw
Local revenue. Disney does too at an afternoon rate. My DD waterpark that she has worked at for 12 years has an after 4pm half rate. Pools are amazingly expensive to staff. The guards must be specially trained and certified and go through life safety training weekly. It is code of insurance.

Nobody wants a dead kid found at the bottom of a pool. She is a trainer and a instructor. They get blindly audited monthly. Her guards she trains will earn $15 an hour in 2020. Not bad for teens and college students

This would be more akin to Disneyā€™s Beach Club selling day passes for Stormalong Bay.

This is my biggest complaint at Atlantis as well. šŸ˜”

I usually get their emails. Didnā€™t get this one. Yes it is a stupid idea especially when the cost for hotel guests is so expensive. I think they had already been doing that in their Poconos hotel.

Iā€™ve only had a table once, and I stood outside the waterpark for an hour before it opened to be able to get one. The lines for slides are already long enough.

Supposedly theyā€™re only offering ā€œlimited passesā€. I didnā€™t realize that any location did this. The weird thing is, the one by me is directly next to Kings Island.. we pass it when going to the park..soccer games..dinner..etc etc, quite often. The parking lot is always full, so I donā€™t think theyā€™re having a problem getting resort bookings!
