I can understand if they did it in the dead winter and fall months during the week when the resort is quieter, but then it takes the experience away from guests who booked at the time because it is quieter.This would be more akin to Disney’s Beach Club selling day passes for Stormalong Bay.
This is my biggest complaint at Atlantis as well.
I’ve only had a table once, and I stood outside the waterpark for an hour before it opened to be able to get one. The lines for slides are already long enough.
Supposedly they’re only offering “limited passes”. I didn’t realize that any location did this. The weird thing is, the one by me is directly next to Kings Island.. we pass it when going to the park..soccer games..dinner..etc etc, quite often. The parking lot is always full, so I don’t think they’re having a problem getting resort bookings!

We’ve now been to Kings Island a grand total of THREE times this year... and this week is the last week of full summer hours.
Anyway, we finally got to experience the new antique cars attraction! T was mad that we didn’t get a new coaster this year, but he did really enjoy the cars. We both did!

I have been thinking about this guy a lot, lately. DD is in the market for a ....what is it you want me to call it @ Mr Ferret 88 ? A bum pack?
Anyway, band camp started today! DD is a section leader, and of the 3 for her section, has basically been put in charge of the freshmen. She never found a pack she like, and started asking me at 10:30 last night when Target opens. Nope, not running there, when I asked her all day what she needed.

Hopefully he feels better!! I'm celebrating my birthday tomorrow too, because A will be off with her dad and his girlfriend and her kid on my actual birthday. When you're older though, birthdays are just like any other holiday: it doesn't really matter when you have them. I looked for Harry Potter events (we share a birthday) because I wouldn't have the kid but this year is the one year they don't have any in my area.

The last week of full summer hours? Huh? When do kids go back to school there? Shouldn't they have summer hours through to the end of August at least?
Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster, PA used to have that antique car ride. My kids enjoyed it when they were younger.

It would have been nice if he would have switched days with you. And a girlfriend already? My sil's ex had a new girlfriend not even a month after they divorced. Makes you wonder. Her kids aren't wise to it, and if they are they are hiding it. They call her Aunt ____.

We've been separated for like... 15 months now. He seems pretty serious about her, and she seems like a genuinely good person, and the girls get along. Either way, they've been "Facebook official" for a few months. He and I had a conversation almost a year ago about being okay if the other one dated. Having to stay single if you found someone you were good with just seems like an added punishment on top of going through the really long divorce process.
And it's written into the decree that we get her for our birthdays, but in true D style he forgot my birthday and made plans. I didn't want to disappoint A by making him cancel his plans. It is what it is.
