Wow. I’m sure they’re getting a ton of complaints!

It's happened with one or two of the other major networks as well (over the past 7 years or so), as contract renewal time. Dish satellite TV has their contract blackouts from time to time -- usually at different times than DirecTV, due to the renewal dates on the network contracts. It's just so frustrating.

I know they got rid of BienSports too, which has forced a lot of people to add Sling or FuboTV

My sister got Netflix with her cable package. I got a passcode. Yeah, but so far I've watched two episodes of the Crown. So good but then again maybe I'm biased.

I love The Crown, but I’m a huge PBS Masterpiece fan, so it’s right up my alley there. I can’t wait for the next season.

Seriously, I do wonder where all this is heading . . . :(

Me too. It’s become out of control, I do think it will eventually be streamlined. There’s just too much. I rotate between Netflix and Amazon only for certain shows or when kiddo has a sports break and may be able to watch movies.. sometimes I don’t have a subscription to either one.

When you add in streaming music services, and look at the big picture- it’s getting crazy.

I don’t know about that. I think a few would easily combinable in a merge.. not much different than any cable company.

I was responding to the post of turning them into ONE and back to pre cut cord prices. This post is vastly different than the previous.

Consolidations have been happening since the the dawn of cable companies. FCC in consolidation just make sure there is still healthy competition whether it’s banks airlines or entertainment cable/streaming.

Remember you know who is forging to split up Facebook and Twitter cause he believes there are not enough social media platforms. That one is going to be more interesting.

That's another thing to consider when changing around from cable, satellite, and a number of streaming services. My question is, will Hulu also eventually delete something that you might like as well? From my (brief) scan of various services out there now, none of the streaming ones have everything I want. Now, I could "settle" on one of the ones that has more of what I want, BUT, will that fall apart (similar to Sling with your sports channels) within the next year or so? Frankly, I just don't trust any of them now --and that includes all the satellite and cable companies as well as the streaming ones. I hope that Hulu does well by you in the long run--maybe it will.

And yes, we're still dealing with the CBS blackout on DirecTV. :banghead: (Thank God I have a local antenna.)
So far Hulu hasn't dropped anything we watch

When it opened it was amazing for both lunch and dinner and then it slid a bit but still very good for lunch but dinner was meh to say the least, now with the menu changes I'm in no rush to get back at all at any hour which is sad. BTW you could always do sans cheese &/or croutons

Posted by me before, but, its been a while...
The one and only time we have eaten at BOG was for dinner on June 9th of 2019, so about 6 mos. after it full-opened on Dec. 6th, 2012.
DWifey had a shrimp and scallop puff pastry thing (sans the scallops with more shrimp), oldest DD had the Ratatouille, youngest DD and SonIL had the salmon, and DS and myself had the strip steak.
What we could eat of the strip steaks were flavorful enough, but, there was too much gristle in both. I can do a fair amount of beef fat, but, not much connective tissue. DS ate about a third of his, and I ate about two-thirds of mine.
Everyone else enjoyed their meals, but, also said there was nothing really extra special about them.
The desserts were about the same.
The ambiance is nice, of course, and we got to meet Beast afterwards, so we still had a good time.
But, overall, even back then, we were in no hurry to go back. Especially, since we were all on my CM 50% DDP discount ($30/day/person instead of $60 for 1 snack, 1 CS/QS, and 1 TS - the strip steaks alone were $32.99 at the time) and knew we wouldn’t have that discount on future trips.
If things have slid even more, and now including the new menu changes, it’s probably way down on our list.
But, I won’t say never, as, of course, we hope to return with our dear lil’ Emy in a few years or so and, as well as her wanting to be an astronaut ;), she may also be a huge BatB fan...!!! ;):)
