That reminds me I need to find a way to save my pins as well. I got them all in a bag.
somehow all images look broken.Well the heat wave broke this morning and the 90s heat streak with high humidity gone. Woot!!!
Off we went. Train to the City.
First stop Chicago pizza grinder one of my favorite places in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. Hole in wall that is small and normally has a 1.5 hour to 3 hour wait, no reservation and cash only.
Salad with homemade creamy garlic and sweet and sour poppyseed dressing
This Mediterranean bread is awesome. I could eat just that. It is so huge that the hot bread is draped over a dinner plate to serve. Oil and a shaker of Mediterranean spices are served with it but ya really don’t need it.
Nom nom nom
The pizza grinder is baked in a small white bow upside down. When served it starts with the crust on to of the bowl. Server glides a spoon around the inside of bowl and plops it on a plate. This crust is never soft or soggy.
Time to start the bail fund. The idiots are out in the rain shooting off fireworks waking James up to raid my fridge

And how did he not think as a Royal his attire wasn’t going to catch some flack? It’s like he is 19 trying to define his identity again. Almost like he is defiantly saying I’m done with you People like his Dear Mom. Can’t say I blame him. Gotta love the shoes and socks.

I totally agree. I avoid it at this point.I'm the same way... There is rarily anything cheerful on the news, and I don't need more stress in life!
I actually remember eating hood ice cream cups in summer camp. In our last neighborhood in PA, a firetruck drove through our development Christmas Eve. Santa was in the back and he and other firefighters threw candy at the kids. I thought that was so awesome.Very cool. Some great memories there.
It was your comment about the fire trucks that reminded me of when I was a kid, and our town had a 4th of July parade. We loved the fire trucks, because the firemen would throw Hoodsie ice cream cups to the kids! These ice cream cups (from Hood, a local dairy company) had a little wooden spoon inside -- it was oddly shaped, but I'd always manage to get all the ice cream out of the little cup!
