I didn't know that! I think we should celebrate both July 2 and July 4 -- two holidays -- why not?! :happy:

I watched the firework's from Epcot (it must be wierd seeing some of the fireworks over one pavilion) someone was streaming on Youtube. Before that I watched the day before MK show which was a change in pace vs the normal crap (Happily Ever After.....I didn't even watch it on my last trip) that Disney puts out. I watched the version too from Bay Lake Tower....it was amazing to see the 360 fireworks at once.

But my neighbors was doing the firework thing too...thankfully not too late or else I would've have gone insane.

For some reason we are always in Epcot for Norwegian Independence Day (May 17th).

Last night, hubs gave him the tranquilizer pill that vet prescribed, for any stressful situation (such a holiday fireworks). Once the pill kicked in, he eventually went off to sleep, despite the loud fireworks in the area.

Meanwhile, he's up and energetic this morning. He's already gone dumpster diving in the little trash can that hubs has here in our computer room. I just had to yank away a paper towel he absconded (and was tearing to shreds) from the trash bucket -- he's such a lunatic. :p
