Are you allowed to keep a water bottle with you?

Yes, I always have it with me. I fill it about 1/3 and put it in the freezer so it's ice the next day, and we have a water cooler in the entrance room with the lockers, and I fill it with cold water, and I have a thermal bottle cover, so with the ice and the cooler, it keeps the water cold all day. We can only have water, but that's fine with me.

The kiddos road-tripped up to Lubbock to visit some of SonILs relatives this weekend, and just got back safely a bit ago...!!!

I can’t keep second guessing my decision, which I’ve been doing a lot of the past few days. I’m always the one who says “but look at all of the people who are fine!” when told that a destination is dangerous. The DR thing is too strange though.

I’m praying for the families of those who died, and hope the FBI can get to the bottom of it.

The fact that its now different resorts and they are all tourists... Makes you wonder if ONLY the food that tourists eat was tainted.. or worse.. poisoned

At first I thought it was connected to the mini bar drinks, but apparently some didn’t have a drink inside the room. Something’s definitely going on! The strangest thing is that it’s only American tourists! So weird.

It's too weird. You made the right call. Lots of other beautiful, safer places to go. Costa Rica, Jamaica, Florida, Hawaii...to name a few.

Well, I have to fly home tonight. Technically to Denver and then to DC, but home. Sad that vacation is ending and it's back to reality. Not sorry to be getting off my allergy meds since it's summer in MD and I don't need them back home whereas I'm on double doses here.
