Ivory Tower Squabble EST 2011. WINDMILL SURVIVOR
It's expensive going solo and with the British offers, I can't imagine having to pay for a family. I do feel sad so many people won't be able to experience the magic.

We used our tax return every year to go to Disney for at least 2 weeks sometimes a second trip if we had AP and were gifted a code. We viewed it as family bonding time.

Now I have adult children with all with good paying jobs. We all split it. So it gets easier to travel with Adult kids brings it down to very affordable especially if you don’t pay Rack Rates.

I was reading before I commented to see if anyone noticed that yet. Here I knew it at 11pm last night. I’m going to read on before I say more to see if you guys already covered it

OK. It didn’t get covered. As I said we knew late last night the AP was going up. My kids was up beginning of September and mine October. They needed to update theirs soon to get FP+ reservations though. This afternoon we went through the backdoor and grabbed 3 AP at yesterday’s prices. We got confirmation and they are laying in our MDE for when the current ones expire. My Goal of never paying Rack Rate.

@MySmallWorldof4 and @93boomer drop me a PM if you want to know how.
You won’t have time to contemplate long. Annually the glitches are closed pretty fast.

Someone posted that Sam's Club is selling them currently at the old rate. I am not planning on buying anymore. We may do Uni and the beach next year. Possibly do maybe 2 or 3 days at Disney in the late Spring, but we may wait until Epcot's 50th to do a big trip. We will see. As I said before, I am a little soured with this exorbitant price increase. It is also not fair to those with current AP's that are expiring soon and could have renewed at the old rate to not have been given warning. Very poor customer service. I understand they are a business, but AP holders show loyalty to their brand. They should have a glimmer of consideration. The pixie dust is starting to just become dust.

They really need to stop issuing watches for severe weather if nothing's going to happen. There's another one until 10 and it's barely rained. Had one yesterday too and it rained AFTER they cancelled the watch. Supposed to rain tomorrow and thursday and I have a feeling it wont. If it's not gonna rain....STOP TELLING US IT IS.

A severe weather "watch" is just that. It's a heads up that you might get some severe weather. I like early warnings like that, because I can plan my day -- if I wanted outdoor activities, I might way until the next day. Anyway, your choice whether to pay attention to the "watch" or ignore it. I'd just be glad if no bad weather came out of a "watch", but I appreciate a heads up, if there is any chance of bad weather.

The thing is, they told us we were definitely getting severe weather the beginning of this week which never happened, and in the case of yesterday, the watch was cancelled after a few hours of being issued. The weather report for the next 2 days has it at a 80% chance of rain and I can't keep cancelling outdoor plans if nothing is going to occur.

Ha!!!

We received 3 replacement Weber classic BBQ grills one year I stopped reporting duplicates so they would stop sending me more grills.

I ordered 2 wing backed chairs for my formal living area from Eathan Allan one delivered with a crack in the rung. Thinking up my staircase it happened. In the end I had six wing backed chairs. I stopped reporting the over delivering. I bought a huge round marble coffee table and arranged the six chairs around it. Never bought a sofa for that room.

Sometimes you can try but have to give up on honesty. :cyclops:

Oh yeah, their mistake and I wasn’t charged. Hubby said he’d just wear one on each wrist!

Yeah, I have flown a lot for work and for fun, in all the different classes and some private planes as well. It's certainly nice to experience such luxury but if I'm the one paying I usually slum it in economy. ;)

Oh yea, I hear ya’, and same here...but, it sure was nice to experience the “high life” a coupla’ times back in the day...!!!!! :hilarious::D;)
