I made a salad with mixed greens, quinoa, grape tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, and scallions. Made a citrus tahini dressing for it. Not bad actually. Very light and refreshing. Wish I did have some falafel for them though. No time to make it today. Have to bring our oldest dog to the vet in an hour.

Is your dog o.k.? Hope it's just a checkup and nothing more. 🐶

So my last trip post will be delayed until tomorrow because of the Bruins.

Heh, heh . . . try commuting from home after work, and dealing with the heightened number of fans who are also crowding the rail station, where it connects into the sports arena. As with all the major sports teams that play there (Bruins, Celtics), I know the drill and cringe on game nights--much worse during any playoffs/championships.

I walk a back way to get to the station. Once I see all the police detail motorcycles approaching, and escorting the team buses into the rear security garage entrance, I know it's going to be manic getting to my train. :jawdrop: (The teams always have this bad habit of arriving, just when I want to get out of Dodge! ) ;)

Tonight would have been a good night for me to stay home and watch sports on tv.
Instead I ignored the "Imminent Severe Alerts / Flash Flood Warnings" that were sent to my phone and I drove my DD to her music practice at the high school. There was one low lying area that I went thru at 3 mph. 🙃😉

Cannot believe these men are almost 60. I loved Eric Stoltz in Some Kind of Wonderful.

Yep, I’ll turn 57 this October, so they’re all from my generation...!!!!!!! :eek:o_O:D;):)

I really enjoyed Stoltz in the movie “Mask”...!!! :)
I also remember “Some Kind of Wonderful”, as well, as along with Eric Stoltz, it also starred Lea Thompson, and Mary Stuart Masterson...now 57, 57, and 52 respectively...which would have made them about 25, 25, and 20 respectively when they filmed that teen-angst HS flick...!!!!! :hilarious::D;):)

We only catch most of the parades as we walk by to get to rides! :hilarious: We would get on several rides than waste time sitting watching.
The small donuts at Joffrey’s were a big hit with us last trip. We had them several times. They are soo good! The large ones, to me, don’t taste as good.
We park hop to 2 or 3 parks a day too! And we also end up at Epcot to eat quite a bit. 😊

Yep, especially since the kiddos have been older, parades just aren’t a “must-do”.

Any talk of little donuts always reminds me of this...!!!!!!! :hilarious:

The last trip we took in Feb. of ‘16 for the Princess 5K was the only WDW trip that we didn’t have Hoppers for. But, it was a whirlwind of a trip that we only had 2 Park days for anyway...first day in MK, and second day in EPCOT Center ;), as that was the Park the run was in and around...!!! :)
Even for our trips when I was a CM in ‘12 and ‘13 all our complimentary CM passes were hoppers...I had several saved up, plus was gifted enough from fellow CMs that would never use them that it was enough to cover our entire family, including SonIL, for both week-long trips...!!!!!!! :joyfull::)

I would if older ds wasn't on his way home, both alone until dh gets home:eek::cautious::banghead: He'll want to do something with his brother and James gets upset when somebody bothers him while he's working. Older ds is getting sent home as a precaution as round 2 of storms should come in this afternoon. I'm not sure if I'm more scared or upset I'm going to get nothing done

Hope y’all stayed safe, Figgy...!!!
