I don’t eat it super often, but, I have yet to meet tofu that I didn’t like how it was prepared...!!!!!
As far as the cholesterol goes, mine usually runs about 220-ish, but, no doc I’ve ever had has been too concerned because, even though the total is above 200, my good cholesterol number is always much higher than my bad cholesterol number.
Back when I was 35 and decided to lose a bunch of weight by eating better and exercising, I had my doc call me at my office after some bloodwork...had never had that happen before, so I was convinced he would be asking me to come to his office to deliver some not-so-good news.
Turns out he just wanted to congratulate me on all my great (even my cholesterol was an all-time low of 123) blood work numbers...!!!!!
