Good for him and you!!!Although under complete control now (no medication at all), when hubs was first diagnosed with diabetes 2 (this was maybe 5-6 years ago), he had to completely change his diet. One thing he "discovered" was that he could have those Shirataki noodles and he loved them--took the place of regular past for him.
(He didn't pan fry. Just boiled them and put pasta and meat sauce over them.)
Edited just now--I meant to say he put tomato/meat sauce over the noodles, not pasta and meat sauce!

I like all of them and love the outletsDid I share the good deals gotten at the Disney Character Outlet? Got a bag for oldest, a hoodie for me, and a tee for oldest. The price of the bag was $35 from $75. The hoodie was $18 from $60, the tee was $13 from $30. Since I had been on DCL before, I felt like I wasn’t “cheating” buying it.

I think Figgy might be referring to the fact that it tends to contain nuts. I don't eat it for that reason, and I avoid Moroccan food as a general rule.

Boy howdy, did I ever do my good deed for the day earlier...
I found a wallet in the parking lot of our corner store with over $300 cash in it...!!!!!
Just as I was giving it to the clerk for safekeeping (I’ve known this guy long enough to trust him), the guy who lost it came back to claim it (the ID in the wallet was definitely a pic of him). He was so grateful he offered me $20, but, I kindly told him that wasn’t necessary, and didn’t take the money...!!!!!!!

And, I didn’t do anymore “diving” today, but, the summertime fun is just beginning...!!!!!!!

She’s cuter than a bugs ear...!!!!!!!
It’s just so fun watching her learn and grow, and oldest DD (as have our other kiddos - it’s just more obviously on her mind right now
) has thanked us many times for spending the time we did with them when they were kiddos and into adulthood, and now spending time with our dear lil’ Emy and them...it has taught them all how important it is, and how much we treasure them all...!!!!!!!

THNX and it's wheat I'm avoiding. For the most part I've been subbing in quinoa or millet for couscous. Nuts are on my safe list of foods considering how many people are allergic It's a bit of a shock
