Oh those orange bird prints!!! Not so keen on the green shirt. I do like the orange one. It's being marketing on shopdisney.com as a mens shirt.. but I think it's more unisex.

The term “unisex” always cracks me up...
A woman can wear a ball gown one night, and jeans and a t-shirt the next mornin’, and nobody bats an eye.
If I did that, I’m thinkin, even these days ;),
I might get a weird look, or two...!!!!! :hilarious:

What's the coolest thing I've seen today you ask?

So we went out to eat and I had parked behind a tesla. When we left we got in the car and the Tesla started up and started moving across the parking lot with NO DRIVER! I was freaking out...... and then as we pulled out the dude and his family came out and gave me a silly grin... he had essentially moved his car so I could pull straight out. It was crazy, and amazing, and definitely the coolest thing I've seen all day, maybe all month!
Very impressive.
The coolest thing I saw today was when I looked in the mirror 🤣🤣🤣

Definitely agree with you on the new WoD design. I get the simplification, less “clutter”, streamlining, etc. But, it all looks like every other retail store, instead of uniquely Disney.

The "clutter", overstock, whatever -- created this fun, (somewhat chaotic, with crowds) atmosphere. I remember so many happy times going through that store. And when the area was just Downtown Disney, the WOD was an actual destination for me -- a real treat on my once-yearly trip. (Memories .... :inlove: )

(I'm also reminded of a member, Fractal, and his funny TR a few years back, about when his family went to WOD. I laughed through the whole thing -- about how they all kept getting "lost" from one another, the noise, the chaos, etc. He'd stand up on a display to try and get an aerial view to see if he could spot family members, etc. :p)

actually, its more stressful lol, so many projects and things to do at same time. Problem is, some staff thinking I somehow know all about the projects that started before I joined and expect me to produce information that I do not know. The boss in the other hand is fine. just few stuff there and here.

Only way I dislike is the way the time is counted. I am sitting 9-10 hours a day, but I only clock less than 6 hours. Because the tracking system does not count idle time, long conversations between staff, restroom breaks..etc..

On the good side, the pay is 1.5X times what I used to earn before. So since I'm doing small work on the older job and work fully on the new one, I'm earning around 2X what I used to earn. So I hopefully will pay all my debts in 6 months.

Very good news about the pay increase for you. :) (Regarding the time not paid for off-computer discussions, etc., that's not fair to you, but at least overall, your pay scale is higher than what you were making in the past.)

As for the other less desirable aspects regarding existing projects, eventually, you'll be one of the veterans in there and your stress level will lower. It's always hard to start in a new job, but in time, things will even out.
