We've been seeing centerpedes the past week or two. Those things freak me out. I think it's because of all the rain we've had up here over the past 2 months -- all the crawlies are coming out!!! :jawdrop:
We have those things called household centipedes here all the time, although I haven't seen many this year. When one first sees them they look vicious, but, they are slow and easily killed. I looked it up and they are harmless, their defense is their evil, sinister look. They only eat those tiny little bugs that get in through the screens and annoy you, so I try and keep them around to take care of those insects, which annoy me more then intimidate me.

Never been to an IKEA, even though there's one here in the state for at least the past 10 years or so. It's not really close by, so I don't go. It does sound like an interesting store, but we're not in the market for furniture. It's nice that they have a cafe and some food to go, in case you've been shopping in there for a few hours.
I think the idea behind the reasonably priced restaurant is to keep you there when you are hungry, and then you can shop more. If you happen to try something you like, something else for you to buy and bring home.

We went to the one down the road a few times shortly after oldest DD and SonIL were married to get some small furniture an stuff for their apartment(s) at the time.
Haven’t been there in a few years, and have never eaten there, but, I loved makin’ our way through the amazin’ maze of a store that it is...!!!!! :)

Seriously, and not bein’ snarky at all, but, isnt it called “Jersey Week”...?!
Yep, we actually were there at the tail end once for youngest's first birthday celebration in November. There were a lot of Jersey accents in the parks that week. No offense @figmentfan423 or @SteveBrickNJ . I married a guy from Jersey, but very grateful that he has no accent.

Yes indeedeedoo, similar here, as I was born in Texas, but, I don’t have a shred of a Texas accent, ‘cause I was raised in No Cal during my formative years. But, I still do say “y’all” all the time....!!!!! :hilarious:;):)

Indeed, I had a discussion with my sister who insisted the Royal Princess was bigger than the Allure of the Seas.. but it was an illusion. Because the biggest spot of the Princess ship was in the back (when docked in St. Maarten). And looking at the skewed angle, it looked bigger than the Allure, which was in one of the farthest docks and its tallest point is near the center (the suite , suite lounge and buffet section).

I think I had talked about this point before.
The Royal is 66m tall...
The Allure is 72...

The angle of the photo and the difference in design makes the difference.

I like cruising too, but, I have a problem with it. When I was very young I saw the movie, "A night to Remember". The original black and white movie about the Titanic. I was very young and it scarred the hell out of me. I had nightmares for weeks. Now even though I still will go on a cruise I am constantly on the lookout for icebergs even in the Caribbean. Imagine my panic a few years ago when I cruised across the Atlantic. Just kidding, I don't even think about it anymore, but, man did that movie knock the pegs our from under me for a little while.
