Sounds like my DD with FoP. She can ride everything except Mission Space at WDW

She read a Disney Blog Post and tried the Sea Bands available on Amazon for around $6. Also Target sells them

She had zero problems with FoP.

@StarWarsGirl have you tried the
Sea Bands?
No, but I don't think they'd work on FoP for me. I think it's an inner ear thing in my case. I can't even enjoy the ride because it makes me dizzy from the start. Hence I don't even want to ride it. The more intense version of Mission Space triggers migraines in me for some reason. I also don't like the pressure on my chest; it's basically what it feels like to have an asthma attack, except you also can't breathe during an attack. Which is fine because I can still do the less intense version and then I usually just go chill for a while while the rest of my group does it.

The only ride in WDW that makes me flat out nauseated is Astro Orbitor. My mom can't do that one either, so we usually snack while the guys ride it.

We did Margaritaville as a walk up for lunch so I think you'll be ok with that one. I'd say make a reservation for Antojitos as they can get busy. Call UNI to make reservations for every place you want just to make sure so allergies can be noted. Be warned Toothsome isn't so great with food restrictions from what I've heard, not every place at UNI has a vegan option or a gf one. Today is quick service so no reservation needed. Just another monkey wrench I believe some places can be booked 60 days, some 30
Well, we leave next Thursday. I will see what we can do.

First, I am going to have to figure out the chips. They came out half perfect, half still floppy. I am thinking I need to try a smaller batch. And it needed better seasoning. I had put some sea salt on it, but it was still lacking.
Chips are the one thing I find work better in the oven. I put the chips on a rack on top of a cookie sheet. Then again I tend to do LARGE batches

For those of you who also look at the Bob Saget thread, this topic will be something you saw me mention over there.
Yet for my exclusively Chit Chat thread friends, I'm not just gonna say I like the weather in May...additionally, I'm composing a little song too!

When all of us are experiencing the seemingly never ending winter, we complain about the snow and the ice.
So now that winter is a distant memory, I just want to say......
(cue the violins & trumpets)

If Spring Break was in May instead of April....how great would that be?😎

Well, I have one ace in the hole. With my dad's estate, all the money was coming into my dad's account at first, which became my account when he passed. So a portion of that money that is still in the account is actually my brother's. So if he doesn't cancel in a timely manner, and that money gets lost, that will just come from his share. So I won't be losing any money on this, even if he decides not to come. If that weren't the case, I wouldn't have offered to make the reservations and pay on my card. He did debt consolidation over a decade ago and was not allowed to have a credit card, and I think he can now, but I'm not sure any credit card company would give him a card. And since you need a card for literally EVERYTHING, he can't make ADRs or anything....I get that, and I'm happy to help out with that, but only because if he ends up being a no-show, I can stil get my money back.

And my niece turns 6 next week, so she's a bit young to travel alone cross-country.
I'm glad you have a way to recoup your money if your brother decides not to come but I really hope it all works out for you and you get to spend time together.
I know your niece is still too little at the moment but at some point she will be able to meet you on her own.
With my niece and nephews in Australia it's been a long wait but their mum finally gave the okay for the eldest to fly on his own.
Problem is that she attached the rule he has to pay for the flight himself so I'm not sure if he'll be motivated enough to save all his money to see his Dutch family.
